Lytle Police Report Sept. 30-Oct. 6

Sept. 30
4:48 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Short St. for a report of a possible open door. Officer arrived and found the home to be secure.
8:06 AM – Officer arrested a 21-year-old male subject on an Active Warrant out of Lytle PD for Assault Bodily Injury – Family Violence. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
10:17 AM – Officers responded to City Hall P-Lot for a report of a disturbance. An 18-year-old subject was arrested for having an Outstanding Warrant out of Bexar Co. for Possession of Marijuana < 2oz. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
11:43 AM – Officer responded to Pumphouse Carwash for a report of a homeless person hanging out by the vacuums. Officer arrived and found a male subject who said he got stranded; he was sleeping when officer arrived. He was cooperative and agreed to leave.
1:51 PM – Officer responded to CR 6843 at CR 6842 for a report of a two vehicle crash.
2:45 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, officer was unable to locate the caller.
4:21 PM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Harbour St. for a report of a burglary of habitation. Complainant reported an unknown person entered her residence which was locked and stole several clothing items and baby items.
4:58 PM – Officer responded to Pumphouse Carwash for a report of an unruly customer that was refusing to leave. Upon arrival, the subject had already departed.
8:38 PM – Officer responded to Metro PCS for a report of a suspicious person. Officer made contact with a male and discovered he was standing outside the building using the WiFi. The male was identified and released.
10:30 PM – Officer responded to Pirate Express for a report of an alarm. Officer made contact with people on scene who advised they were moving into the Beauty Salon in the back.
Oct. 1
3:46 AM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
4:06 AM – Officer responded to 18800 Blk. of Pine St. for a report of a suspicious male walking in the area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
6:50 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 S to assist Bexar Co. with a possible accident. Officer was unable to locate any accident but did see an abandoned vehicle in the center median (already red tagged) that might have been mistaken for an accident.
7:00 AM – Officer responded to Tots to Teens for a report of a suspicious man on the property and complainant wanted the male removed. Officer checked the front and back areas but was unable to locate.
9:20 AM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to receiving calls from her estranged husband sending her harassing text messages and phone calls.
11:50 AM – Officer responded to Main St. at McDonald St. for a report of a traffic hazard. An oversized load could not make it under the red lights due to its height. The truck was re-routed through the Dollar General and escorted to IH 35 S.
2:30 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to receiving harassing or threatening messages from her estranged boyfriend whom she has an active protective order against.
6:15 PM – Officer responded to Naegelin Rd. for a report of a male fleeing on foot. Officer made location and assisted Atascosa Co. in locating the male identified him. He was handed over to Atascosa Co. Deputy.
9:29 PM – Officer responded to old Schwan’s for a report of a male walking around the abandoned building with a flashlight. Officer located the male and his vehicle with a total of three meth pipes with residue in them. A 26-year-old male subject was cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released.
10:52 PM – Officer was contacted in reference to the stolen forklift being recovered by Bexar Co. Sheriff’s Office. The machine was recovered on Pearsall Rd. near 1604.
Oct. 2
7:51 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to the safety of the High School.
10:59 AM – Officer responded to City Hall to assist a stranded motorist who ran out of fuel. Officer provided the female driver a courtesy ride to the HEB C-Store to get fuel.
1:28 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 SB (1/2 mile past Medina Co. Line) for a welfare check on a female that left Camino Real that was in distress. The female called Camino Real requesting assistance and was located at IH 35 SB. The female was given a courtesy ride back to Camino Real and released to the nurses.
1:54 PM – Officer responded to 19000 Blk. of N. Prairie St. to assist Atascosa Co. with a felony warrant service.
7:40 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Mini Storage for a report of a burglary in progress. Officer made contact with the four female suspects on scene and determined it was a civil matter.
Oct. 3
11:25 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to being scammed. Complainant cashed a check that was mailed to him and for a job he applied for online. The complainant discovered the scam and is now out $4,200.
12:30 PM – Officers responded to Hurley Funeral Home and provided funeral escort.
3:15 PM – Officer responded to Cabinet Creations for a report of a fraudulent loan paid out to the company in the owner’s name.
5:07 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of detained shoplifter. Upon arrival, officer was advised HEB will not be pressing charges for the stolen items. A criminal trespass notice was given to the female.
Oct. 4
6:30 AM – Officer responded to N. Prairie St. at Main St. to assist a motorist. Officer provided traffic control for the tow truck.
12:11 PM – Officer responded to CR 6710 for a report of a solicitor in the area. Officer located the subject who was advised of the city ordinance. The subject departed.
12:31 PM – Officer responded to 15900 Blk. of White Cap Dr. for a report of an alarm. Officer found the residence to be secure.
2:45 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a subject consuming alcohol on licensed premises. Subject departed prior to officer’s arrival.
3:46 PM – Officer responded to Express Rent to Own for a report of a subject who pawned a rented TV. Upon investigation, it was determined that the renter was not the actual person who pawned it.
3:48 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Animal Control for a report of an assault. The victim had an item thrown at her by an estranged boyfriend which struck her in the neck causing pain. A note was also found in the victim’s car which meets the elements for Terroristic Threats.
3:53 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a subject open carrying a pistol and when contacted by the loss prevention stated he was Law Enforcement but would not show his credential. Upon arrival, contact was made and the subject was wearing a badge and furnished his credentials from Bee Co.
9:31 PM – Officer responded to 14800 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. for a report of a physical disturbance. Officer arrived and talked to all parties involved. Case under investigation.
10:23 PM – Officer responded to 18900 Blk. of N. Pecan St. for a report of a 911 open line call. Kids were playing with the phone.
Oct. 5
12:30 AM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Adams St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in front of the complainant’s home. The neighbors were having a party. All was okay.
6:27 AM – Officer assisted the public with a courtesy ride to HEB C-Store for fuel.
10:00 PM – Officer responded to Days Inn for a report of a suspicious male walking across the street with a knife into the Days Inn P-Lot. Officer made contact with the male and identified him. The male was at the hotel with his mother wand was waiting for a ride from his friends to leave.
Oct. 6
6:54 AM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for a report of a business alarm. There were numerous bats inside, the building was found to be secure.
7:01 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
12:54 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Tire Shop for a report of a suspicious male trying to open the door to the closed business. Two subjects were located along a creek bottom in a field behind the location. A consent search of the subjects’ belongings resulted in the arrest of a 40-year-old female subject and a 38-year-old male subject for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1. Both were transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
