Lytle Police Report Nov. 25-Dec. 1

Nov. 25
12:12 AM – Traffic stop at HEB C-Store resulted in the arrest of a 36-year-old female subject for Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 < 1g. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
10:41 AM – Officer responded to 19600 Blk. of S. Somerset St. for a report of an alarm. Officer spoke with a family friend at the residence who assured him it was an accidental alarm activation.
2:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
3:30 PM – Officer talked to complainant who wished to report his adult step-daughter as a missing person. Last seen about 2 weeks ago in the company of her boyfriend who supposedly walked away from him at a gas station in Lytle.
4:15 PM – Officer responded to Taqueria Jalisco for a report of a welfare check on a truck/tractor semi with a trailer and the driver team would not answer calls. Officer arrived and found the vehicle and noticed no foul play. All seemed to be okay.
4:25 PM – Officer released property to rightful owner.
5:30 PM – Officers responded to Certified Truck Auto Repair for a report of a suspicious male pulling on the door to the business. Officers checked the area but nobody was located.
8:15 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB at Exit 131 for a report of a two vehicle crash.
Nov. 26
1:02 PM C – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Short St. for an information report. Upon arrival, officer met with the resident who stated he wanted to report a possible threat to another person via text messages
2:05 PM – Officer returned property to rightful owner.
3:02 PM – Officer responded to Little Caesars for a report of a two vehicle crash.
6:30 PM – Officer responded to John Lott Park and talked to complainant in reference to leaving his broken down pickup in the parking lot overnight. The vehicle will be removed the next day.
9:09 PM – Traffic stop at the 15000 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old subject for having a Warrant out of Wilson Co. for the Original Charge of Theft of Service $100 – $750. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
Nov. 27
9:15 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a two vehicle crash.
1:30 PM – Officer returned property to rightful owner.
4:19 PM – Officer was dispatched to Oak St. to check on the welfare of 4 children. Officer determined the children were okay, they were staying with their grandparents.
5:00 PM – Officer unlocked a vehicle at John Lott Park
6:15 PM – Officer responded to Lake Shore Dr. for a report of a reckless driver in a grey vehicle.
Nov. 28
6:05 AM – Officer responded to an alarm at Bill Millers BBQ, all was okay.
10:26 AM – Officers responded to the Lytle ISD Primary for a report of a juvenile possibly throwing rocks.
5:55 PM – Unknown male fled Bealls with some unknown items, case under investigation.
7:53 PM – Officers asked a homeowner to turn down the music after a complaint was received.
9:47 PM – Officers responded to the Chevron for a domestic disturbance.
Nov. 29
9:10 AM – While on patrol officer observed a rear hatch at Bealls that was inadvertently left open by a shopper. The shopper was located and the vehicle was secured.
10:19 AM – Officer responded to the Chevron to assist in unlocking a vehicle.
11:57 AM – Officer responded to the 15000 Blk. of Mesquite Street for a welfare check on a resident.
1:30 PM – Officer responded to the 16000 Blk. of FM 463 for a report of a fire. Upon arrival the fire turned out to be a controlled burn.
2:23 PM – Officer responded to Main Street @ Cortez Road for a reckless driver.
2:35 PM – Officer responded to the 19500 Blk. of Martin Street to assist the homeowner with replacing the batteries on the residential smoke alarms.
3:23 PM – Officer responded to the 19100 Blk. of Priest Blvd. and assisted Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department with a report.
4:26 PM – Officer responded to the Dollar General for a report of a stolen vehicle from another jurisdiction in the parking lot. Upon arrival it was determined the vehicle wasn’t reported stolen. The vehicle was released to the owner.
5:35 PM – Officers responded to the 19700 Blk. of Bruce Street for a welfare check on a resident. Everything was okay.
Nov. 30
2:36 PM – Officer responded to the 15000 Blk. of Oak Street for an activated burglar alarm. All was okay the alarm was accidently activated.
3:22 PM – Officer responded to the Country View Apartments for a suspicious vehicle.
6:15 PM – Officer responded to Main Street @ Somerset Street for a reckless driver.
8:11 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 N. Mile Marker 132 and assisted a disabled motorist with a flat tire.
9:55 PM – Officers responded to the H-E-B Plus for a welfare check on an elderly driver in the parking lot. The driver was escorted back home.
Dec. 1
1:15 PM – Officer responded to the H-E-B Plus for an unruly customer.
1:38 PM – Officer responded to the 14600 Blk. of Gray St to unlock a vehicle.
1:48 PM – Officer responded to the Yumm Convenience Store for an unruly customer.
7:10 PM – EMS Officer assisted EMS in the 19800 Blk. of Bruce St.
