Lytle Police Report May 20-26

May 20
12:50 AM – Officer responded to Dollar Tree for a report of a suspicious vehicle stopped in front of the store. All was okay, it was a Lyft Driver who dropped off a rider from San Antonio.
1:00 AM – Officers responded to Covey Dr. and Quail Creek Dr. to assist Atascosa Co. with a disturbance.
6:13 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a reported vehicle on fire. The fire had already been extinguished when officer arrived.
10:02 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to an accident that occurred at the Hacienda Jalisciense on 5/19/19.
10:45 AM – Officer responded to McDonald St. at Main St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
4:40 PM – Officers responded to 600 Blk. of FM 3175 to assist Atascosa EMS with an unresponsive female.
4:50 PM – Officers responded to Beall’s for a report of a suspicious male. Officers checked the area, unable to locate.
7:57 PM – Officers responded to Twin Liquors for a report of a man shoving around two females. Complainant reported that the females fled to the Taco Bell area while the suspect continued to purchase liquor and then chased after the females. Officers located the man and an investigation into the possible assault resulted in all parties denying as assault had occurred. Subsequent check of everyone’s identity resulted in the arrest of the 29-year-old male subject for having an Active Warrant out of Travis Co. for an Original Charge of Hit and Run – Accident Involving Damage to Vehicle > $200. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
8:42 PM – Officer responded to Hwy. 132 SB for a report of a possible intoxicated driver. Officer made contact with the driver, all was okay.
10:45 PM – While patrolling the Lytle High School, officer located an unlocked door. Officer made contact with the operations manager who locked the door.
10:55 PM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of Blume Dr. for a report of a snake in a residence. Officer was unable to capture the snake.
May 21
12:19 AM – Officer responded to Sonic Drive-In for a report of an alarm. No signs of criminal activity found.
3:14 AM – While patrolling the Express Rent to Own officer located an unlocked door. No signs of criminal activity found. Officer spoke with Security Company who contacted a key holder to go and lock the door.
10:40 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of two customers causing a verbal disturbance.
1:55 PM – Officer talked to complainant and released property that was previously kept for safekeeping. Subject was then given a courtesy ride home.
9:45 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to her adult son who is becoming more unstable and possibly violent.
11:08 PM – Officer responded to Days Inn for a report of a suspicious male walking around the hotel area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
May 22
2:44 AM – Traffic stop at 19700 Blk. of IH 35 S resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old male subject for having an Active Warrant out of Frio Co. for an Original Charge of Burglary of a Habitation. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail. The passenger was given a courtesy ride to Whataburger to wait for his ride home.
8:06 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
9:23 AM – Officer responded to N Somerset St. at Live Oak St. and assisted Lytle ISD Primary Students with traffic control as they crossed the roadway.
10:30 AM – Officer responded to Lake Shore Drive for a report of debris on the roadway causing a traffic hazard. Officer arrived and removed debris off the roadway.
12:22 PM – Officer responded to 18700 Blk. of FM 2790 for a report of an alarm. All was okay.
2:45 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 133 for a welfare check on a truck driver. Officer made contact with the driver, all was okay.
3:00 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer and requested extra patrol.
May 23
1:20 AM – Officer responded to 14700 Wisdom Rd. to assist the public. Officer provided a courtesy ride.
5:30 AM – Officer responded to 14600 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a hang-up call. Officer searched the area and was unable to locate anyone.
1:15 PM – Officer responded to Bill Miller BBQ for a report of a possible disturbance. Upon officer’s arrival, all parties were gone.
2:00 PM – Officer responded to 14500 Blk. of Main St. and talked to complainant in reference to an insurance check that had been deposited by an unknown person(s).
3:30 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to gunshots being fired. It turned out to be in Medina Co. outside the city.
4:33 PM – Officer responded to Martin St. for a report of shots being fired. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
7:51 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus and talked to complainant in reference to complainant’s signature being forged to get medication in order to get a narcotic drug that was prescribed to her.
8:26 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 at FM 3175 to assist Medina Co. with a traffic stop.
9:07 PM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Oak St. for a report of a physical disturbance between a 16 YO daughter and her step dad.
9:41 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a suspicious person. Officer arrived and was advised by manager that he wanted the person in question off the property. Subject left without further incident.
9:57 PM – While on patrol at Best Western Plus, officer noticed a tire on the road. Officer removed the tire off the roadway.
10:10 PM – Officer responded to 14800 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
May 24
3:23 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to assist an elderly man standing in front of the store. The individual had already previously being told to be off the HEB property. The male individual was given a courtesy ride.
10:35 AM – Officers responded to 14800 Blk. of Main St. and provided funeral escort.
10:35 AM – Officers responded to 15200 Blk. of Oak St. and talked to complainant in reference to having a discipline problem with complainant’s 16 YO daughter.
12:10 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Donut Shop for a report of a counterfeit $50 bill.
12:45 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a welfare check on an elderly customer.
1:05 PM – Officer responded to 15400 Blk. of Lake St. for a welfare check. Officer arrived and found no one at the residence.
2:30 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Elementary School to unlock a vehicle.
3:33 PM – Officers responded to O’Reilly Auto Parts for a report of a two vehicle crash.
3:36 PM – Officers responded to Live Oak Street for a report of a person riding an electric motorcycle on the road.
9:05 PM – Officers responded to the John Lott Park to check on the welfare of a juvenile female that was reported to be there. Officers were unable to locate the female.
9:45 PM – Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 19300 Blk. of McDonald Street for a violation. A 38-year-old male subject was arrested due to an active Bexar County warrant for Assault Bodily Injury – Choking. Hernandez was booked into the ACSO Jail.
10:33 PM – Officer responded to the HEB Plus to check the welfare of a subject asleep in a vehicle. The subject was given a courtesy ride home.
11:45 PM – Officer responded to the 19800 Blk. of Bruce Street to assist a subject locked out of a residence.
May 25
12:21 AM – Officers responded to the 15000 Blk. of Mesquite Street for a verbal disturbance.
3:55 AM – Officer responded to the 15000 Blk. of Mesquite Street for a disturbance.
7:55 AM – Officer responded to Lazy J Trail to assist Texas DPS with a vehicle pursuit.
9:00 AM – Officer responded to the Pumphouse carwash for a report of 2 vacuums that had been broken into. Officer discovered that the suspect(s) had only gotten into the trash collection bins.
10:22 AM – Officer responded to the HEB Plus for a report of a stolen golf cart. The golf cart was later recovered.
11:26 AM – Officer responded to the area of Pine Street at Adams Street for a report of a suspicious item on the railroad tracks. Officer located the stolen golf cart from HEB C-Store abandoned. Due to the golf cart being on the train trestle bridge UP Railroad was notified.
2:10 PM – Officer responded the 14500 Blk. of Railroad Street to recover the stolen golf cart from HEB CStore after UP Railroad removed it from the tracks.
3:00 PM – Officer responded to the 11000 Blk. of Pearsall Road to deliver some FedEx packages that were delivered to the wrong address.
5:10 PM – Officer responded to the 19500 Blk. of McDonald Street for a 2 vehicle minor accident.
9:25 PM – Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 19300 Blk. of McDonald Street for a violation. A 38-year-old male subject was arrested on an active Bexar County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1. The subject was booked into the ACSO jail.
May 26
1:30 AM – Officer responded to the area of OH-35 near mile marker 135 to assist BCSO with attempting to locate a subject hit by a vehicle. Officers were unable to locate anything.
4:06 AM – Officer gave a courtesy ride to Natalia from the 15000 blk. of Main St.
4:50 AM – Officer conducted a field contact with a subject seen around the vacuums at the Pumphouse Carwash.
5:30 AM – Officer responded to the 18700 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for a report of loud music.
7:15 AM – Officer responded to the Whataburger for a report of criminal mischief. Unknown person(s) spray painted the side of a vehicle with red paint.
7:53 AM – Officer responded to the 18500 Blk. of FM 2790 N. for an alarm call.
9:45 AM – Officer responded to the Days Inn for a report of criminal mischief. Unknown person(s) spray painted a vehicle with red paint.
1:13 PM – Officer responded to the Taco Bell for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officer made contact and all was fine; the subjects were using the free Internet.
1:44 PM – Officer responded to the 15000 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a disturbance between a male and female. Officer was unable to locate.
4:03 PM – Officer responded to the 19400 Blk. of S. Prairie St. for a civil matter/child custody.
5:42 PM – Officer responded to El Bufalo Pawn for an alarm.
7:20 PM – Officers were dispatched to N. Prairie St. at Railroad St. for a report of stray dogs in the area.
7:41 PM – Officers assisted ACSO on IH-35 FM 3175 with a traffic stop.
8:35 PM – Officers responded to the 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. for a verbal disturbance.
