Lytle Police Report June 17-23

June 17
3:10 AM – Officer responded to Community National Bank for a report of an alarm.
10:34 AM – Lytle PD arrested a 19-year-old female subject on an Active Lytle PD Warrant for Theft $100 – $750. The original case was a Theft at HEB Plus from 4/23/19. The subject turned herself in and was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
10:48 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to a female caught on camera in the complainant’s yard.
1:25 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a theft of a license plate that was taken off of a trailer between the hours of 7:45 am and 8:30 am.
3:02 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in regards to problems with the patient.
8:02 PM – Officer responded to Bruce St. for a report of loud music. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
11:25 PM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. to assist stranded motorist by contacting motorist parents to bring him gas at IH 35 and Sheppard Rd.
11:40 PM – Officer responded to 100 Luckey Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. with a disturbance.
June 18
2:01 AM – Officer responded to Harbour St. for a report of a verbal disturbance in progress. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
7:43 AM – Officer responded to 17900 Blk. of Laney’s Catch for a report of an alarm. All was secure.
9:00 AM – Officer assisted the pubic with fingerprints for employment purposes.
7:40 PM – Officers responded to Main St. at Gray St. to assist stranded motorist. Officers changed a tire for the motorist.
11:20 PM – Officers responded to Grand Somerset Apartments for a welfare check. Complainant had heard knocking at her front door and requested officers to check the area. All was okay, officers conducted additional patrols in the area.
June 19
1:20 AM – Officer responded to Best Western Plus for a report of a suspicious male sitting on the 3rd floor in his underwear. Officer arrived and made contact with the male who stated he was locked out of the room.
7:01 PM – Officer responded to John Lott Park for a welfare check on a man lying on the ground next to his bicycle. Officer made contact with the male and provided a courtesy ride to his residence.
June 20
12:05 AM – While patrolling at 1800 CR 6710 officer noticed a vehicle in the front yard with an open passenger door. Officer made contact with the resident who stated her daughter must have forgotten to close the door after taking in the groceries. No signs of criminal activity noted. Resident secured the door.
2:30 AM – Officer patrolling at 14800 Blk. of Harbour St. officer noticed a man walking in the dark. Officer made contact with the male subject who stated was walking to HEB C-Store for some snacks.
2:46 AM – Officer responded to El Bufalo Pawn for a report of an alarm.
4:01 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home for a report of a natural death.
10:35 AM – Officer responded to Lytle True Value and talked to complainant who wanted to report unsafe driving.
1:30 PM – Officer responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a lift assist.
1:31 PM – Officer responded to 18000 Blk. of Lake Wind Dr. for a welfare check. Officer attempted to make contact but there was no answer at the door nor did it look like anyone was home.
3:55 PM – Officer responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a lift assist.
6:37 PM – Officer responded to 18000 Blk. of Lake Wind Dr. and talked to complainant in reference to complainant’s ex-husband possibly putting cameras on her property.
7:40 PM – Traffic stop at the 15000 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the arrest of a 37-year-old female subject for having an Active Warrant out of Bexar Co. for an Original Charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 1g – 4g. During the impound inventory of vehicle, a methamphetamine pipe with residue was found in the vehicle. Subject was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and cited. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail. Officer was later contacted by Atascosa Co. Jail and was told a jailer had discovered a baggie of methamphetamine hidden in the suspect. Officer took the baggie as evidence and suspect was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Correctional Facility.
11:05 PM – While on patrol at S. Somerset St. near Magnolia St. officer noticed water over the road coming from a source beside the road. Lytle Public Works was notified.
June 21
3:54 AM – While conducting business checks, officer located an unlocked front door. Officer checked the store and found no signs of criminal activity. Officer was able to lock the door on the way out.
5:32 AM – Officer responded to 18000 Blk. of Lake Wind for a report of suspicious activity near resident’s home. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
5:43 AM – Officer responded to 15800 Blk. of White Cap Dr. for a report of an alarm. Officer spoke with the resident who stated his brother, who doesn’t know the code, had accidentally triggered the alarm.
6:03 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to unlock a vehicle.
6:45 AM – Officer assisted City Hall with contacting businesses to inform them of the water break and the upcoming need to boil water until further notice.
4:55 PM – Officer responded to 15900 Blk. of White Cap Dr. for a report of two females soliciting door to door in the Lake Shore Subdivision. Officer arrived and discovered two adult females without a city permit. A 30-year-old female subject and a 21-year-old female subject were both cited for Soliciting without a Permit and released.
5:50 PM – Office responded to FM 2790 N and Main St. for a two vehicle crash.
5:59 PM – Officer responded to Atascosa EMS to unlock a vehicle.
6:06 PM – Officers responded to 14900 Blk. of Main St. and talked to complainant in reference to a hit & run.
6:51 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer to report a civil matter – child custody.
7:40 PM – Officer responded to Blume Dr. and talked to complainant in reference to suspicious individuals soliciting without a permit.
8:00 PM – Officer responded to FM 2790 at Cottage St. and provided a resident a courtesy ride home.
9:30 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at IH 35 S Access Rd. for a welfare check on 3 pedestrians in the area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
9:40 PM – Officer responded to Pumphouse Car Wash for a welfare check on a female with a small child waiting in the parking lot. Upon officer’s arrival, they were being picked up.
10:50 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to a scammer hacking complainant’s father.
June 22
1:34 AM – Officer responded to El Bufalo Pawn for a report of an alarm.
6:25 PM – Officer responded to FM 463 for a report of a stray cow. Based on the location given, it was determined it was in Medina Co. jurisdiction. Officer forwarded information to Medina Co. Dispatch.
10:46 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
10:58 AM – Officer responded to Lake Shore Dr. for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of the road. Subjects were crew members of lawn care services.
3:02 PM – Officer responded to Great Clips to assist Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. with a recent illness among all employees and a weird odor. Lytle Fire Dept. noted gas readings were out of normal and advised to contact the property management.
3:42 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 SB on ramp near FM 3175 and assisted a disabled motorist. The vehicle had a broken an axle and was partially blocking the on ramp. Officers provided traffic control until the wrecker arrived.
3:47 PM – Office responded to 17900 Blk. of Laney’s Catch for a report of a criminal mischief, a broken back door window was damaged.
4:11 PM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Adams St. and provided a courtesy ride to a female due to her vehicle being un-drivable.
6:00 PM – While on patrol at Coal Mine Subdivision, officer was waved down by a resident stating a suspicious vehicle was roaming around the area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
June 23
12:57 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a two vehicle crash.
8:35 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 N Access Rd. at FM 3175 for a report of a driver in a white pickup truck and possibly intoxicated. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
8:45 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 N Access Rd. at FM 3175 to assist a disabled motorist that broke down. Upon arrival, a family member was in route to assist.
9:20 PM – Officer responded to 19500 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of a civil matter.
11:15 PM – Officer responded to Hidalgo St. for a report of a suspicious male walking in the area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
