April 8
12:30 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a civil stand by.
1:33 PM – Officer responded to AutoZone to unlock a vehicle.
2:00 PM – Officer assisted the public with fingerprints for employment purposes.
3:10 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
3:15 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
4:33 PM – Officer responded to Little Red Schoolhouse to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
6:40 PM – Officer responded to N. Somerset St. at Railroad St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
4:58 PM – Complainant stopped by the police station for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
6:45 PM – Officer responded to FM 2790 at FM 463 to assist a motorist who requested directions to Lilly of the Valley Church. Officer escorted the vehicle to the church.
8:18 PM – Traffic stop at 15300 Blk. of Laredo St. resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old female subject and a 23-year-old male subject for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were cited and released.
9:03 PM – Officers responded to Alexander Insurance for a report of an alarm. Officers found the building to be secure.
9:50 PM – Officers responded to Days Inn for a report of a disturbance. Officers arrived and made contact with individual who has mental health issues. Officer contacted his parents who arrived at scene and were advised of the situation. The subject was not a danger to himself or others.
April 9
3:22 AM – Officer responded to US Renal Care for a report of an alarm. Officer arrived and made contact with an employee who stated he set the alarm due to still learning how to open the building. All was ok.
6:33 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to unlock a vehicle.
8:33 PM – Officer responded to 14600 Blk. of Richard Dr. to unlock a vehicle.
9:04 PM – Officer responded to Best Western Plus for a report of three juveniles who were not guest at the property, swimming in the hotel’s pool and refusing to leave. Officer arrived but was unable to locate anyone.
10:15 PM – Officer responded to United Grain to assist Atascosa Co. with a report of multiple trespassers on the property. Officer arrived and was unable to locate anyone.
April 10
1:10 AM – Report of a reckless driver at 19700 Blk. of IH 35 Access Rd. resulted in the arrest of a 20-year-old female driver for Driving While Intoxicated and a 41-year-old male passenger for having an Active Warrant out of Atascosa Co. for Fail to Identify – Fugitive Intent to Give False Info. Both were transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
11:40 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Jr. High School for a report of an unruly student.
8:44 PM – Officer responded to Diamond S Building for a report of a suspicious vehicle pulling into the business and backing out. Officer arrived and searched the area, unable to locate.
11:14 PM – While on patrol, officer noticed a vehicle backed out between the sheds at Diamond S Building . Officer spoke with 3 occupants who stated they were looking at a building for possible future purchase. No signs of criminal activity observed.
April 11
4:31 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 S to assist Bexar Co. with locating a female who had been kidnapped by her estrange husband. Officer searched the area, unable to locate anyone.
12:30 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station for a report of a male subject who sold the complainant “gold” jewelry for $400 that turned out to be fake.
1:05 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Mini Storage for a report of a red SUV that ran over the “School Speed Zone” sign. Officer searched the area, unable to locate the vehicle. Lytle Public Works was notified of the damage.
2:25 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to possible illegal dumping in front of a residence.
5:00 PM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of First St. and conducted a welfare check on a resident. All was okay.
7:28 PM – Officer responded to John Lott Park for a report of a verbal disturbance.
8:32 PM – Officer responded to 19600 Blk. of Gray St. for a report of burglary. There was determined to be some confusion, no crime occurred.
11:06 PM – Officer responded to Dollar General for a report of an alarm.
April 12
3:38 AM – Officer responded to Dollar General for a report of an alarm.
5:05 AM – Officer responded to US Renal Care for a report of a two vehicle crash.
7:50 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
1:51 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a customer shouting at other customers and being unruly. Officer made contact with subject and advised him to refrain from bothering customers.
6:30 PM – Officer responded to Little Caesar’s P-Lot and talked to complainant in reference to a road rage incident that occurred between the complainant and an unknown motorist.
6:46 PM – Officer responded to Sonic Drive-In for a report of a counterfeit $50 bill. Officer seized the bill and submitted into evidence.
7:15 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 SB Frontage Rd. at McDonald St. for a report of a stranded motorist causing a traffic hazard. The vehicle was pulled off the roadway by another motorist.
9:28 PM – Officer responded to John Lott Park to unlock a vehicle.
April 13
3:40 AM – Officer responded to 19000 Blk. of FM 3175 to assist a motorist with a disabled vehicle, dead battery. Officer jump started the vehicle and the motorist was able to get back on the raod.
5:03 AM – Officer responded 19500 Blk. of McDonald St. for a welfare check on a reported driver asleep behind the wheel. Officer made contact with the driver who appeared to be okay.
9:29 AM – Officer responded to Wisdom Rd. at Mason St. for a report of a suspicious male on a bicycle in the area. Officer located the subject, all was okay.
11:03 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 Access Rd at Lytle-Somerset St. to assist a motorist who ran out of fuel and was blocking the road.
3:20 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 132 BB to assist a disabled motorist. Subjects were waiting for family 3 hours away. Officer provided a courtesy ride to Whataburger so they could wait.
7:04 PM – Officer responded to Bill Miller BBQ for a two vehicle crash.
April 14
1:06 PM – Traffic stop at Main St. and Prairie St. resulted in the arrest of a 51-year-old male subject for Driving While License Invalid without Financial Responsibility. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
2:05 PM – Officer responded to Main St. at Benton St. for a report of a single vehicle that crashed into a utility pole with power lines down. Private property damage to CPS Energy utility pole, TXDOT traffic sign and private property fence.
4:44 PM – Officer responded to FM 2790 N at FM 463 for a report of shots fired in the area. Officer was unable to locate.
11:05 PM – Officer responded to Community National Bank for a report of a civil matter.
