Monday, December 09
8:23 AM – 18900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer received a complaint from the MCSO School Resource Officer regarding a large black dog on campus. Lytle Animal Control was contacted, but the dog could not be located.
10:10 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a missing female. Upon arrival, the male had found his wife.
1:13 PM – SH 132 N. @ City Limits – Officer responded to a report of a male in the roadway needing help but could not find him.
2:20 PM – 18900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers responded to assist in a school lockdown drill.
7:35 PM – N. Somerset St. @ Main St. – Officer responded to a disabled vehicle blocking the roadway and offered traffic control until the wrecker service arrived.
Tuesday, December 10
9:52 AM – 19300 Blk. Lytle-Somerset St. – Officer responded to an 18-wheeler blocking the road. The driver was in McDonald’s and moved the vehicle from the roadway.
10:50 AM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officers provided a funeral escort out of the city en route to Devine.
2:32 PM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 19900 Blk. FM 3175 – Officers assisted with a consumer until a deputy arrived to take custody of a female with an active mental health warrant.
2:32 PM – 19000 Blk. Priest Blvd. – Officer responded and arrested an 18 year old male on an active warrant out of Comal County for Tampering with/Fabricating Evidence. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
6:02 PM – 100 Blk. CR 6841 – Officers responded to unlock a vehicle.
6:25 PM – Lytle PD – Officers spoke to a complainant on the phone regarding a civil matter.


6:45 PM – 19100 Blk. N. Prairie St. – Officers assisted a female looking for a lost military ID that was lost while walking. The female later called and stated it was her Texas driver’s license that was lost, not her military ID.
8:40 PM – Assist Atascosa EMS – 15000 Blk. Harbour St. – Officers responded to assist a patient having a medical emergency.
9:02 PM – 19000 Blk. N. Somerset St. – Officers responded to unlock a vehicle.
11:16 PM – Assist Medina County Sheriff’s Office – CR 6710 – Officer responded to a report of a pursuit with a stolen vehicle. Medina County lost the vehicle and the Lytle PD was not involved and was unable to locate it.
Wednesday, December 11
2:50 AM – 15200 Blk. Main St. – Officer discovered an open fence gate. The homeowner was notified, and everything was okay.
5:59 AM – FM 3175 @ IF 35 Frontage Rd. – Officers responded to a report of an 18-wheeler striking the guardrail. The driver ruptured an airline, blocking the entire intersection. The driver was able to make repairs, but the intersection was closed for about 15 minutes.
7:34 AM – 19700 Blk. IH 35 Frontage Rd. – Officers initiated a traffic stop for an expired motor vehicle registration that resulted in the handcuffing and release of a male for an active warrant out of Frio County. The warrant was not confirmed by Frio County, and the male was released with only a citation.
8:30 AM – Lytle PD – Officer fingerprinted a female for employment purposes.
2:22 PM – Assist Lytle VFD – 19800 Blk. Mason St. – Officer responded to assist with possible carbon monoxide exposure in a residence.
3:50 PM – 19400 Blk. S. Somerset St. – Officer responded to a report of a FedEx package delivered to the wrong address.
3:50 PM – 15100 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to a report of a vehicle illegally parked in a handcapped parking spot. The vehicle in question had a blue handicap placard displayed on the mirror.
4:12 PM – 11500 Blk. Laredo St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2010 Ford Expedition.
4:23 PM – 15300 Blk. Oak St. – Officer responded to the death of a 96-year-old female.
Thursday, December 12
9:11 AM – Lytle PD – Officer received a call from a N. Prairie St. resident regarding a suspicious solicitor.
2:58 PM – 15000 Blk. Harbour St. – Officer responded to a resident locked out of her home. The home was unlocked before the officers arrival.
4:41 PM – Assist Atascosa EMS – 19300 Blk. Blume Dr. – Officer responded to assist a patient having a medical emergency.
Friday, December 13
9:15 AM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officers provided a funeral escort.
10:38 PM – 19900 Blk. Lonesome Dove – Officer responded to a report of an stray dog on her property.
1:11 PM – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officers provided a funeral escort.
6:26 PM – 15400 Blk. Lake St. – Officer responded to a 911 hang-up. Everything was okay.
7:54 PM – 15100 Blk. Mesquite St. – Officers responded to a report of a gun being pointed at an Uber driver. Officers were unable to locate the man.
8:34 PM – Hester St. & Martin St. – Officer responded to a Jeep parked in the roadway and asked the driver to move it.
10:43 PM – 17900 Blk. Wisdom Rd. – Officers responded to a report of a stray cow. The cow went back into the pasture.
11:06 PM – Ball Rd. @ Wisdom Rd. – Officer provided a courtesy ride to the HEB C-Store for a female walking on the roadway.
Saturday, December 14
12:34 AM – 15100 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a 911 hang-up. Everything was okay.
12:33 AM – 17900 Blk. Rockys Circle – Officers responded to a resident wanting to speak to officers.
1:44 AM – 14800 Blk. LytleSomerset St. – Officers responded to speak with a male and female and unlock a 2006 Mazda 6.
4:18 AM – Assist Medina County Sheriff’s Office – 18900 Blk. Oak St. – Officers responded to locate a male involved in a traffic accident in Mendina County but was unable to find him.
1:55 PM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to the grandson of an elderly female regarding possible debit/credit card abuse with her bank account.
5:24 PM – 15100 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
7:41 PM – 15300 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury hit-and-run accident.
9:20 PM – IH 35 @ Luckey Rd. – Officers responded to a report of a wrong way driver outside the city limits of Lytle but was unable to locate it.
Sunday, December 15
12:13 AM – Laredo St. @ N. Benton St. – Officers initiated a traffic stop for failing to signal at the appropriate distance which resulted in the citation and release of a 19 year old male for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and minor in possession of a THC Vape Pen.
1:27 AM – 14600 Blk. Main St. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for speeding 88 mph in a 55 mph that resulted in a pursuit into Bexar County before the motorcycle stopped. A 26 year old male was arrested for evading arrest or detention (motor vehicle) and unlawfully carrying a weapon (firearm). Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
4:18 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a disturbance that resulted in the arrest of a 31 year old male for public intoxication. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
7:03 AM – 20100 Blk. IH 35 – Officer observed a male in the driver’s seat parked in the rear of the bank. Everything was okay.
12:53 PM – 19900 Blk. Huckleberry – Officer responded to a loud music complaint.
2:11 PM – 19900 Blk. Huckleberry – Officer responded to a loud music complaint.
5:18 PM – Assist Somerset PD – 19900 Blk. Mitchell – Officers responded outside of the city limits of Lytle to assist the Somerset PD with a female suspect.
5:20 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a vehicle broken down in the roadway. The driver stopped to pick up something in the street.
7:39 PM – FM 2790 @ Farmer Rd. – Officers responded to a vehicle vs animal non-injury accident. The animal was not located.
