7:37 AM – FM 2790 @ Cottage St. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for speeding in a school zone that resulted in the arrest of a 40 year old male for an active warrant out of Bexar County for DWI. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County jail.
10:30 AM – Assist Bexar County Sheriff’s Office – Lytle PD – Officer received a call regarding a missing male from the Greenwood Rd area.
11:49 AM – 15100 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to speak to the owner of the business regarding an ex-employee.
12:50 PM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to two females regarding the stolen truck reported on 4/3/2024.
2:10 PM – Assist Bexar County Sheriff’s Office – IH 35 SB – Officer responded to look for a brown Nissan pulling a trailer with a possibly stolen red Chevrolet Silverado but could not find it.
2:30 PM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officer was notified of a leaking water meter. Public Works was notified.
5:40 PM – N. Somerset St. @ Laredo St. – Officer received a report of a driver striking a stop sign.
7:27 PM – 10600 Blk. Stratford Rd. – Officer spoke to a resident regarding extra patrols.
10:52 PM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a report of a male sleeping in the lobby.
Friday, April 05
2:25 AM – Office St. – Officers observed a red 2019 Kia Soul stolen a few days earlier in Lytle. The vehicle fled when officers attempted to stop it. A pursuit ensued and the suspect was arrested in Natalia after his vehicle left the roadway and hit the brush. A 20 year old male was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, failing to identify by giving false information, and evading in a motor vehicle.
4:11 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a male sleeping. Everything was okay.
9:52 AM – 63000 Blk. Cortez St. – Officers responded to a vehicle parked at an unoccupied home.
10:00 AM – 300 Blk. CR 6842 – Officers were contacted about a possible stolen trailer, everything was okay.
10:37 AM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to a victim of a burglary that occurred on 3/22/2024 at the Lytle Loft Self Storage.
3:48 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer spoke with a complainant who reported their vehicle was damaged in Bexar Co.
4:00 PM – N. Benton St. Between Lake St. to Laredo St. – Officer provided a traffic enforcement request from a resident for a report of speeders.
6:41 PM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer responded to a report of a vehicle parked at the bank.
7:41 PM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to a parent regarding child custody.
8:49 PM – 18800 Blk. Live Oak St. – Officers responded to a verbal disturbance between two parties.
Saturday, April 06

9:57 AM – Assist Lytle VFD – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a report of a vehicle fire. The car was only overheating.
1:04 PM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 100 Blk. Rock Dove Dr. – Officer responded outside the city limits of Lytle to unlock a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado with a two-year-old child locked inside. The child was okay.
