5:15 AM – 14600 Blk. S. FM 2790 W. – Officer assisted a female by trying to jump-start her vehicle but was unsuccessful.
10:29 AM – 15000 Blk. Mesquite St. – Officer responded to a report of a missing trashcan.


10:54 AM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer conducted a follow-up on a prior burglary.
1:15 PM – 18900 Blk. Wisdom Rd. – Officer responded to a report of a neighbor aggravating her dog.
2:46 PM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St – Officers responded to look for a female, possibly taken against her will out of Frio County, but could not locate her.
3:07 PM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a road rage incident that occurred in San Antonio.
6:00 PM – Assist Medina County Sheriff’s Office – IH 35 @ MM 131 – Officers assisted Medina County with a bailout. Four undocumented immigrants were at large, including one female and three males.
7:26 PM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report that a female left her rings valued at $3,000 in the bathroom and were missing after she left them.
8:56 PM – Lytle High School Softball Field – Officer responded to a verbal disturbance between two parents.
9:35 PM – 15200 Blk. Houston St. – Officer responded to a report of a damaged rear window on a 2017 Lexus.
Tuesday, March 26
3:25 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a male and child in a car. Everything was okay.
3:09 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a non-injury hit-and-run accident.
3:30 PM – 15300 Blk. Oak St. – Officers conducted an annual fire inspection of the facility.
6:05 PM – 14600 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to an unwanted customer.
Wednesday, March 27
8:53 AM – 18200 Blk. Ball Rd. – Officer responded to assist with jump-starting a vehicle.
10:00 AM – 11500 Blk. Laredo St. – Officers attended a school lockdown drill.
1:11 PM – 63300 Blk. San Juan St. – Officer took a report of a missing Waste Management trash can.
1:45 PM – 18900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers attended a school fire alarm drill.
3:29 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to take a written statement and obtain a video of a theft from 3/15/2024.
4:05 PM – 14600 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a verbal disturbance and issued a CTW to an unwanted male.
8:47 PM – Railroad St. @ Pine St. – Officer observed a train had stopped, blocking the crossing. Union Pacific was on the scene for the disconnect.
9:00 PM – 16000 Blk. Lake Shore Dr. – Officers responded to a verbal disturbance regarding an injured dog.
Thursday, March 28
2:42 AM – 15000 Blk. Mesquite St. – Officers observed a fire in the backyard of a residence. Officers spoke to the resident.
10:22 AM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 14000 Blk. Heather Glenn – Ln. Officer responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist with a property dispute.
10:40 AM – IH 35 SB @ MM 133 – Officers responded to a report of an 18-wheeler on fire but could not find it.
11:00 AM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to a male regarding a citation that occurred on 7/11/2023. The male said he did not receive the ticket and that his ID had been stolen.
2:21 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a verbal disturbance between a male and a female.
5:05 PM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer conducted a follow-up on a prior burglary.
7:05 PM – IH 35 @ MM 130 – Officer responded to watch for a stolen truck heading north but could not find it.
8:14 PM – 14500 Blk. Railroad St. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for speeding, which resulted in the arrest of a 40 year old male for Driving While Intoxicated. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County jail.
9:12 PM – Lake Crest @ Lake Shore Dr. – Report of possible trespassers at the lake.
10:13 PM – Lytle-Somerset St. @ Bruce St. – Officer responded to a male mowing his yard and was asked to wait until the morning.
Friday, March 29
7:04 AM – McCoy Lane – Officer was flagged down by a citizen regarding the tape on the fuel pumps at the Stripes being broken. Everything was okay.
8:57 AM – 19200 Blk. N. Somerset St. – Officer responded to a stolen 2012 Ford U-Haul on 3/28/2024. A second U-Haul truck was damaged, but the suspect(s) could not start it.
9:37 AM – 20200 Blk. IH 35 – Officers responded to a report of four storefront windows being shot out.
11:45 AM – Coal Mine (Diaz St) – Officers provided an escort for the Passion of Christ walk to the St. Andrews Catholic Church.
1:42 PM — Assist Lytle VFD / Fire Marshal—19800 Blk. Bruce St. – Officers responded to a smoke-filled mobile home on fire. Lytle Fire extinguished the fire.
2:31 PM – 15100 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to a report of a rolling disturbance but could not find it.
3:37 PM – 15100 Blk. Adams St. – Officer responded to a vehicle turning and striking the building and fleeing the scene.
7:35 PM – 19500 Blk. N. Benton St. – Officers responded, and everything was okay.
8:15 PM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a report of vehicle tires being slashed. A 17 year old female and a 19 year old male received criminal mischief citations.
9:32 PM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 30 Blk. Ala Blanca – Officers responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist a deputy in serving active warrants to two individuals.
10:53 PM – 19700 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to a report of a traffic accident but could not find it.
Saturday, March 30
5:45 AM – 15300 Blk. Newton St. – Officers responded to a report of a possible burglary. Everything was okay.
9:25 AM – 19500 Blk. IH 35 – Officer discovered a female who had previously received a criminal trespass for the area. The female left the area.
11:00 AM – Assist Atascosa EMS –15100 Blk. Adams St. – Officers responded to a male with a medical emergency.
5:33 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a male shoplifting an Igloo Cooler, Baggies, and duct tape valued at $53.00. A 19 year old male was cited and released for theft.
5:57 PM – 14900 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to a report of a rolling disturbance but could not find it.
6:16 PM – 19300 Blk. Blume Dr. – Officer responded to a report of a stolen, unsecured 2000 Ford F350 and a 2013 Top Hat Dump Trailer valued at $20,000. The vehicle was stolen between noon and 6:00 PM on 3/30/2024.
6:34 PM – N. Prairie St. @ Main St. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for no registration sticker, which resulted in the discovery of the plate belonging to another vehicle.
10:27 PM – Assist Medina County Sheriff’s Office – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a report of an assault. The assault occurred outside the city limits of Lytle in Medina County. Officers waited until a MCSO deputy arrived.
Sunday, March 31
3:06 AM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – FM 2790 @ Luckey Rd. – Officer responded to assist outside the city limits of Lytle for a suspicious vehicle.
12:35 PM – 15300 Blk. Adams St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2017 Nissan.
11:30 PM – FM 2790 @ Cottage St. – Officers responded to a report of construction cones in the roadway.
11:48 PM – 19400 Blk. Blume Dr. – Officers responded to three males walking in the area but could not find them.
