The Lytle Pirates were able to pick up a key district win at home last Friday night vs. the Cotulla Cowboys. A 1st quarter touchdown by Drew Gonzales followed by a Macros Alvarado PAT would be all the Pirates would need, when the four-quarter battle came to an end to claim victory. The victory allowed the black and gold to improve to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in 14-3A (Div.I) as they enter a game vs. the #1 team in Region IV, Jourdanton Friday night.
