The Lytle Chamber is knee deep in planning activities for their Food Truck Rally on October 30 from 5-10 p.m. at 19332 McDonald Street. The Rally will Feature Food Trucks from the surrounding area and visitors can enjoy a variety of delicious items all evening. There will also be Trick or Treating, a costume contest in addition to the great food , and, of course, drawings for the wonderful gift baskets and gift certificates provided by donations. Music will be provided by Mid Town DJs.
Vendors with food trucks who would like to participate may do so by contacting the chamber to sign up for one of the limited spaces. The spots rent for $200 each.
Visitors will also be entertained by the drawings for the gift baskets and other products from local merchants. Profits from the drawings and from the Rally go to support the Chamber Scholarships which are awarded each year. Last year the Chamber provided two $2,500 scholarships to local students.
Some of the products, via gift certificates, up for grabs include two scrumptious pies from Nana’s Delicious Pies and Cakes, a $40 gift certificate from the Railhead Café, a $40 gift Certificate from 888 Barber Shop, two $25 gift certificates from Friendly Stop and a $40 gift certificate from Mandarin’s Bake Shop. Gift baskets will include one each from Jenny’s Jems Designs, Scantlin Kitchens, Boil & Bubble, Divine Treats, Texana Designs, DK Creations and Many more. Tickets for the drawing will be available at Nutrition on Main in Lytle as well as on the Chamber’s Facebook page via PayPal payment. Additional businesses will be selling tickets as the time approaches.
