10:46AM – Complaint came to police department in reference to money being taken out of their bank account.
12:20PM – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident on Hondo Ave W. Occurred on 8/18/26 during volleyball game.
22:18PM – Assisted MCSO on CR 5710 with motorcycle vs hog accident. EMS arrived.
August 22
11:30AM – Officer responded to major two vehicle accident on SH 132.
13:30PM – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident on Hondo Ave W.
18:56PM – Complainant reported suspicious male walking by the fields on Dixon Dr. Identified by police.
21:05PM – Complainant reported charcoal lifted Ford F1250 driving recklessly on IH 35 MM 124. Unable to locate.
21:50PM – Complainant on Teel Dr S found a Devine license plate at laundry mat.
August 23
0:05AM – Complainant on Warhorse Drive reported a motorcycle being loud. Male subject was riding a kart.
5:48AM – Assisted MCSO on IH 35 MM 121 in locating a vehicle that went off the road.
14:51PM – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident on SH 132.
21:26PM – Complainant on Jack Nicklaus called in reference to a female solicitor. Officer made contact.
August 24
7:45AM – Officer responded to a two-vehicle major accident on IH 35 SB, MM 121.
9:30AM – Complainant on Colonial Pkwy called in reference to female in store and has been known to steal. Complainant wanted criminal trespass given. Officer located female during traffic stop.
11:13AM – Officer received traffic complaint on Hondo Ave W. Unable to locate vehicle.
11:27AM – A black and brown men’s wallet was found and brought to the police department. Wallet was returned to owner.
15:51PM – Officer stop vehicle on State Hwy 173 and female subject was issued citation for DWLI.
August 25
7:19AM – Complainant on Davis Ave. reported male with rifle at his side in front yard. Male subject located with BB rifle; no offense. Male put rifle up without incident.
7:30AM – Complainant on Teel Dr N reported vehicle pulling trailer struck their vehicle while turning onto W Hondo Ave. Didn’t think the other driver realized it. Contact was made, minor scrape to complainant’s vehicle side door. Hondo PD stopped other vehicle; minor scratch to back left of shipping container.
17:05PM – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident on Libold Dr.
August 26
5:52AM – Assisted MCSO on CR 7718 with 911 hang up. All okay.
7:00AM – Late entry – occurred 8/25/26. Complainant on FM 3176 reported suspicious male subject. Subject located and provide with courtesy ride.
13:56PM – Complainant on CR 774 called in reference to silver car parked on side of road for over an hour. All okay.
14:57PM – Officer directed traffic on SH 173 and 5710 while ACO’s picked up injured dog.
August 27
9:52AM – Complainant on SH 132 reported white sedan with handicap plates all over the road southbound.
7:45AM – Late entry occurred on 8/26/26 – Officer cited male subject on Teel Dr N for open container.
9:00AM – Complainant on Hondo Ave W reported vehicles running red light and almost striking crossing guard.
10:06AM – Complainant on I 35 N reported red cab 18 wheeler swerving; unable to maintain lanes. Unable to locate.
14:47PM – Officer responded to verbal disturbance between son and mother on Covey Lane. Parties separated.
21:16PM – Officer stopped vehicle on Transportation Dr N. Subject cited for DWLI.
Natalia Police Report
August 24, 2026 – 7:50 a.m. – Officers responded to mile marker 122 to assist the Devine Police Department with scene management and traffic control. Upon arrival, Officers established traffic control measures to ensure the safety of emergency personnel, involved motorists, and the general public passing the scene. Once traffic flow had sufficiently slowed, stabilized, and the scene was secure, our assistance was no longer required by the Devine Police Department. Cleared the scene, went back into service, and returned to my primary jurisdiction within the city of Natalia without further incident, and officers returned to service.
August 24, 2026 – 10:23 a.m. – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of 5th St, in reference to a theft report. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the complainant who stated that an unknown suspect(s) had stolen an air-conditioning unit and copper wiring from her residence. No known suspects or witnesses to the theft. Officers returned to service. No further action taken.
August 25, 2026 – 7:53 a.m. – Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of 4th St for a sick or injured person report. Individual stated that she was not feeling well and requested EMS. EMS arrived and due to her medical state, EMS transported individual to Medina Regional. Officers returned to service. No further action taken.
August 25, 2026 – 3:57 p.m. – Officers responded to the 100 block of Stallion Trail for an irate male high on narcotics. After making contact with individual it was determined that he needed to be placed under emergency detention and transported to Methodist Hospital in San Antonio for a psychological evaluation. The individual was released to the custody of medical personnel, and officers returned to service.
August 28, 2026 – 4:30 p.m. – Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Bartlett St for a disturbance call. Upon arrival, officers made contact with complainant who stated, she got into an argument with her boyfriend. When questioning her on her boyfriend location, she stated that he left the scene. No further action taken. Officers returned to service.

Monday, August 24
1:15 PM – 19200 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to an elderly female who received a phone scam attempting to get money for her grandson’s release from jail. No money was sent.
3:35 PM – 15600 Blk. FM 463 – Officer responded to a report of a truck knocking down a power line. Upon arrival, it was determined to be a telephone line. The driver was identified.
8:29 PM – Assist Medina County EMS – 19700 Blk. Bruce St. – Officers responded to assist a patient having a medical emergency.
Tuesday, August 25
9:13 AM – Lytle PD – Officer was notified by phone that the 2001 Ford F-150 reported stolen on 8/19/2026 was found abandoned on Jarratt Rd. & Wheeler Rd. in Bexar County. The vehicle was returned to its owner.
10:00 AM – 14800 Blk. LytleSomerset – Officer was contacted regarding a large turtle on the property. Animal Control safely relocated the turtle.
10:09 AM – Lytle PD – Officer conducted a Food Truck Inspection for Doctor Freeze.
8:50 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded and discovered the vehicle was unoccupied.
9:35 PM – Saddle Ridge & John Wayne – Officer observed a male at a new construction site. Everything was okay.
10:23 PM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a verbal disturbance between an employee and a customer.
Wednesday, August 26
2:32 AM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to an active alarm. The business was secure.
9:13 AM – Live Oak @ N. Prairie – Officer responded to a male wearing a hoodie with a backpack but could not locate him.
1:20 PM – 14700 Blk. Butch Cassidy – Officer received a phone call regarding a phone scam from Walmart. The scam call asked the recipient to press 1 to deny the purchase, which could give the caller access to the phone. No money was lost.
3:00 PM – 19300 Blk. Blume Dr. – Officer responded to a report of unpermitted window solicitors. The solicitors were advised of the city ordinance requiring a permit for door-to-door sales and departed.
6:40 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer observed a disabled vehicle in the roadway and assisted in pushing it into a parking lot.
9:32 PM – Saddle Ridge Subdivision – Officer was flagged down regarding a suspicious red truck in the area but could not locate it.
10:24 PM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 40 Blk. Brooke Meadow Dr. – Officers responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist with a disturbance.

7:01 AM – 19600 Blk. S. Somerset – Officers responded to the death of a 90-year-old male.
9:01 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to the report of a suspicious female. Everything was okay.
9:26 AM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer responded to two 911 hang-ups. Everything was okay
10:28 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded and issued a Criminal Trespass Notice to an unwanted female per the manager’s request.
1:48 PM – 19900 Blk. Lonesome Dove – Officers responded to an active alarm. Everything was okay.
2:55 PM McDonald’s & Bill Miller BBQ – Officer was notified that the fence and dumpster enclosure were spray-painted.
4:04 PM – Wisdom @ Newton – Officer initiated a traffic stop for speeding, which resulted in the citation and release of a 24 year old male for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
6:30 PM – IH 35 Frontage Rd. @ FM 3175 – Officer received a report of a stranded 18-wheeler in the roadway but could not locate it.
5:51 PM – John Lott Park – Officers responded to a report of a nude male in the park. A 63year old male was arrested for Public Intoxication and booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
7:15 PM – 19900 Blk. FM 3175 – Officers responded to transport an aggressive consumer to a higher level of care. Officer transported the consumer to San Antonio Behavioral Hospital.
8:11 PM – 19500 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
8:48 PM – 20200 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to a verbal disturbance between an employee and a customer.

1:03 AM – IH 35 Frontage Rd. @ Bruce St. – Officer responded to a report of a traffic accident but could not locate it.
2:26 AM – Adams @ N. Somerset – Officer initiated a traffic stop for a minor violation, which resulted in the recovery of a missing 16-year-old juvenile female from Atascosa County and the Citation and Release of a 17 year old male for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
3:10 AM – 15300 Blk. Oak St. – Officer responded to speak to a patient regarding a nurse’s credentials.
6:15 AM – Farmer @ Medlock Valley (Rosewood Subdivision) – Officer observed a suspicious male loading a skid steer before work hours. Everything was okay, and the officer identified the male.
3:35 PM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to a parent regarding an incident with two juvenile children.
5:32 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
9:10 PM – 14800 Blk. Lytle-Somerset – Officer responded to a report of a stolen vehicle that resulted from a prank by his friends, and the vehicle was located at the car wash next door.
9:33 PM – 14900 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to an active alarm due to the power outage and was secure.
9:46 PM – 19600 Blk. S. Somerset – Officer responded to an active alarm. The home was secure.
10:02 PM – Lytle-Somerset @ Bruce St. – Officer observed a downed phone line. Public Works set up barricades.
10:20 PM – FM 3175 @ IH 35 Frontage Rd. – Officer responded to a report of a street sign knocked down in the roadway and moved it. TXDot was notified.
10:21 PM – N. Prairie St @ Laredo St. – Officers responded to a report of a tarp in the roadway and moved it.
10:21 PM – Main St. @ FM 2790 – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
10:35 PM – 20100 Blk. FM IH 35 – Officer observed a car parked at the ATM and discovered the ATM stopped working during a transaction due to the power outage.
10: 59 PM – N. Benton St. @ Railroad St. – Officer observed the crossing arms malfunctioning and contacted Union Pacific Railroad.
11:33 PM – Wisdom Rd. @ Lake St. – Officer responded to a report of a tree in the roadway. Public Works removed the tree.
Saturday, August 29
12:16 AM – Newton St. @ Wisdom Rd. – Officer responded to a report of a power line in the roadway. Public Works set out barricades.
9:15 AM – 19400 Blk. S. Prairie St. – Officers responded to a downed power line in the resident’s yard and advised the homeowner to contact CPS.
10:46 AM – McDonald St. @ IH 35 Frontage Rd. – Officer responded to a report of obstructed traffic lights and contacted TXDot.
4:09 PM – Main St. @ Priest Blvd. – Officers responded to a two-vehicle traffic accident.
5:00 PM – 19300 McDonald St. – Officer responded to a verbal disturbance between two males.
8:33 PM – Martin St. @ Main St. – Officers responded to a stranded motorist in the roadway. Officers pushed the vehicle to the side of the road and provided the motorist with gas.
Sunday, August 30
12:14 AM – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officers initiated a traffic stop for speeding, which resulted in the arrest of a 27 year old male for felony Driving While Intoxicated with a child. Officers booked the subject into the Atascosa County Jail.
1:45 AM – 15900 Blk. Lakeshore Dr. – Officer observed a Ford F150 with the lights on and secured the vehicle.
5:48 AM – 20200 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to a report of suspicious activity and discovered everything was okay.
6:04 AM – 15300 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to an active disturbance between a male and a female. Atascosa EMS transported the male to Atascosa Methodist Hospital for treatment. Further charges are pending.
8:59 AM – 14900 Blk. Lytle-Somerset – Officer responded to a report of a wire across the roadway. The phone line was cut, and the road was cleared.
2:25 PM – FM 2790 @ Blume Dr. – Officer responded to the report of an intoxicated driver. The driver was located, and the officer determined the driver was not under the influence.
3:02 PM – 63200 Blk. SH 132 – Officer responded to a welfare check, and EMS transported the elderly subject to the hospital.
4:10 PM – Lytle PD – Officer conducted a follow-up on an open case.
6:28 PM – IH 35 @ FM 2790 – Officers provided traffic control while TXDot worked on the traffic lights.
6:56 PM – Assist Lytle VFD – 2400 Granberg Rd. – Officer responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist with a large grass fire.
10:52 PM – 15100 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a customer causing a disturbance. The customer departed on foot and was located on S. Somerset St. A 56 year old male was booked into the Atascosa County Jail for Public Intoxication.
11:43 PM – 15100 Blk. Main St. – Officers observed a customer of the restaurant back into a Police Patrol Unit while investigating the previous call. Minor damage with no injuries reported.
