Leona M. Shipp, age 86 of Devine, Texas passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 in Natalia, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James N. Shipp; parents, Joseph and Elizabeth (Theis) Bendele; son, James N. Shipp, II; sisters, Irene Hammond, Lorene Bendele, and Edna Bendele.
She is survived by her grandson, Eric Fulton; great-granddaughter, Malorie Fulton brother, Joe Bendele, Jr. and wife Linda of Devine; sisters, Evelyn Dubose and husband Darrell of Devine, Elizabeth Braden of Arizona, Pauline Clements and husband Cornelius of Del Rio, and Alice Neidlinger and husband Charles of Lakehills; numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be recited 9:30 am Friday, December 22, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 10:00 am with interment to follow in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
