The Lady Mustangs fell to Sabinal and Devine last week. They forced the tougher schools to four sets each and worked hard in each game.
Facing Sabinal on August 18th, Natalia won the first set 25-21 and stayed aggressive through the next three. They fell short at 21-25, 16-25, and 24-26. Kody Blanquiz had 5 aces and Tina Fulton had 4.

Devine struggled to win against the smaller school of Natalia. Devine barely won the first set at 25-21 and took the second 25-11. It was in the third set that Natalia really stood up and took the win at 27-25. But Devine won the final set 25-5.

The Lady Mustangs will face Crystal City Saturday at home and then Carrizo Springs next Saturday. They will hold an alumni game September 1st.
