Karen Renée Carter Caikoski, of Castroville, passed away on June 18, 2018 in San Antonio at the age of 66 years. She was born September 12, 1951 in Porterville, California to Lewis Dale Carter and Ealline Morrow Carter, who have preceded her in death.
Renée spent most of her life in Northern California. In 2009 she fell in love with the idea of a small town Texas lifestyle and decided to join her youngest son Cesar in Castroville. She will be remembered for her wonderful smile, beautiful blue eyes, her passion for animals, and her unyielding support of her family and friends.
Renée will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dennis Sharp of Castroville, Kimberly Sharp of Corning, California and Cesar Valencia of Castroville; brothers, Dale Carter of Crescent City, California and Kenneth Carter of Elk City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Renée Valencia, Michael Sharp, Kyle Sharp, Brooke Valencia, Cierra Sharp, Nicholas Sharp and Zachery Valencia; great-grandchild, Sport Sharp.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00 am at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
