The JV1 Lady Mustangs are now 2-1 in district and look forward to beating Lytle this Friday and Poth on September 21st. With an overall record of 4-9, their district record of 2-1 really shows how much they have improved this season.
The JV1 team may have lost to Crystal City in a non-district game but it was not an easy win for the Javelinas. At 17-25 and 23-25, the Lady Mustangs worked hard for every ball.

In a district game against Poteet, the Lady Mustangs won after dropping the first set 17-25. They rallied back to win the second set 25-16 and the third 25-14. This was their second district win.
