JV Warhorses whip Wildcats 36-0

The JV Horses closed out their 2019 season with a convincing 36-0 win over Carrizo Springs at home last Thursday evening. Devine finishes their season 5-5 overall and 3-2 in district.

The 16-0 lead carried through into the third quarter. Nick Ortiz caught a 5-yard pass from quarterback Jaiden Burford to boost the Warhorses lead to 22-0 with 7:38 to go in the third quarter.
A little over two minutes later, Burford touched the end zone after a 29-yard run. Aiden Zapata scored the last touchdown of the JV season on a 27-yard run with 5:34 to go in the season. Ryan McClain converted the two-point run to finish the 36-point whitewashing of the Wildcats.
