The JV Warhorses managed a better result in their second game of the day.

Winn seized the momentum back in the top of the 3rd inning, using three singles and two walks to cross the plate twice and take a 3-2 advantage.
Devine put the game away with an offensive outburst in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Carrizo Springs responded immediately, using a leadoff double and consecutive walks to tie the game in the top of the 2nd inning.
The JV Warhorses put up a crooked number in the bottom of the 2nd inning to take the lead for good. Gehrig Runyan drew a two-out walk, stole second to get into scoring position, and came in to score on a single by Jordan Degollado. Lawson struck out swinging, but thanks to heads up base running, was able to reach base safely on a dropped third strike that also allowed Degollado to score.
