The JV1 Lady Mustangs added another win to their now 5-3 overall record with a district win over Cotulla on September 2nd.
Coach Tara Cortinas’ team won the first set 25-21 but then dropped the second set 20-25. They came back and fought hard to win the final set 15-7 and close out anther win. This puts them at 2-1 in district.

The Lady Mustangs have six more district games this season with Lytle on October 8, and Cotulla on October 11 up next.
JV2 Lady Mustangs
The JV2 Lady Mustangs fell against Cotulla 1-2 on September 25th.
Natalia played hard against the Cotulla Freshman losing the first set 23-25. The Lady Mustangs won the second set 25-22 but it was in the third set that both teams had to work the hardest. Cotulla won 25-22 but only after a long back and forth battle against the JV2 team.

The JV2 Lady Mustangs will play in Lytle on Tuesday and then at home against Cotulla. They are 3-3 overall and 0-3 in district.
