The JV Lady Mustangs traveled to Jourdanton on Tuesday to open district. It was a tough first district loss for the team at 21-25 and 10-25. Abigail Fulton 6 digs, 1 kill, 2 aces. Yahdira Lujan 4 assist, 2 aces. Angelina Solis 2 aces. Gabby Ayala 1 kill. Kira Jimenez 1 kill. Trina Vera 1 kill. Angelina Duenes 1 kill.
Friday night against Somerset, the JV Lady Mustangs played a better game and took Somerset to three sets. Natalia won the first set 25-21 but then dropped the second set 16-25. It all came down to the third set and it was a tight game until the end but Somerset won 15-13.
The JV will play at West Campus on Friday and then on the road next Tuesday against Cotulla and then in Poteet on Friday.
