Natalia’s Lady Mustangs’ JV1 squad had a tough week when they faced Poth and Lytle. Now 3-6 for the season, the JV2 squad took a whole game to wake up against Poth. They dropped the first set 10-25 but came to life in the second set and worked hard to keep it a closer match, only losing by two points at 23-25.

When they faced their rivals on September 19th, the Pirates had to work hard to win the first set at 22-25. Natalia took control of the second set to win it 25-19 and then nearly took the third set but lost in the final moments at 23-25. They are becoming a stronger team and working hard for every point.

The JV1 Lady Mustangs will take on Dilley this Saturday and Cotulla Tuesday with both games being at home.
