Juanita C. Rangel peacefully entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 6, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 87. She was born on May 15, 1933 in Moore, Texas.
Juanita was proceeded in death by her parents Theodoro & Maria Cornejo; husband Carlos Rangel; daughter Sulema Rodriguez; brothers Jesus and Inez Cornejo; sisters Monica Garcia and Dominga Cordova; grandsons Manuel Louis Frias and Isiah Balderrama.
She is survived by her children Margaret Rangel, Emilio (Feliz) Rangel, Danny Rangel, Nora Pina, Roberto (Lorena) Rangel, Rene (Angie) Rangel, Danny Joe (Shannon) Rangel, 21 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on August 11, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at the St John Bosco Catholic Church in Natalia, Tx. with interment to follow, in the Moore Catholic Cemetery.
Due to the new Executive Order from Governor Abbott, we are asking that everyone wear a mask during the visitation, mass and burial.
