Juan Jose Ornelas, age 74, passed into our Lord’s hands Thursday morning on May 6th in 2021, with his family by his side.
Juan was born on July 12th in 1946 at home in Bigfoot, Texas to parents Raul and Angelita Ornelas.
Juan is survived by his wife Maria Ramirez Ornelas, mother Angelita Lopez Ornelas, daughter Linda Bales, sons Johnny and Ignacio Ornelas, and their spouses Patrick McGill, Narvalynn and Nicole Ornelas, his brothers Raul Jr., Ramiro, Arnulfo, and Ricky Ornelas, 6 grandchildren, Lauren Haass, Leslie Raymond, Elizabeth Bales, Cassandra, Olivia, Rebecca, and Diego Ornelas and 3 great-grandchildren, Elaine Haass, Eleanor and Abigail Raymond.
He is preceded in death by his father RaulMorales Ornelas, and brother Fernando Ornelas.
Juan was a great family man and a loving father and husband. Juan retired from Medina County Precinct 4 after working for more than 20 years.

A service will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 108 S Washington Dr. Devine, Txat 9:00 am, on Saturday June 5th, 2021.
