Juan Antonio Rodriguez of Devine, Texas, age 80, passed away on December 24, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. Juan was born on April 10, 1939 in D’Hanis, Texas to Juanita S. Rodriguez.
Juan is preceded in death by his mother; brother; Santos Rodriguez of Phoenix, Arizona, and grandson; John Anthony Rodriguez III of Devine, Texas.
Juan is survived by his loving wife: Maria S. Rodriguez; sons: Tony Rodriguez (Rebecca) and Eric Rodriguez (Cori); and daughter: Mary Jane Herrera (Rogelio). As well as 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A visitation was held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Hondo Funeral Home. A funeral mass was held at 11:00 am. on Monday, December 30, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. An interment followed in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
