Joyce Marie Williamson

Joyce Marie Williamson, 67, born February 20th, 1957, in Pleasanton, Tx to Lee Roy and Thelma Montgomery. In great sadness and unexpectedly left us on March 11th, 2024.
Luke 23:43- And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
Joyce is preceded in death by her father Lee Roy, her mother Thelma Montgomery, her brother Dennis Montgomery, her husband William “Curly” Williamson, and her son William “Cory” Williamson.

She is loved and survived by her daughters Ellen Cumpian, Heather Morgan, Codie and Larry Townsend, and Veronica Williamson. Her siblings Leonard (Christine) Montgomery, Gerald (Georgie) Montgomery, Sheilia Montgomery, and Melissa (Larry) Koch. As well as her beloved fur best friend Peetee Johnson. Also, by many nephews, nieces, and grandchildren.
Her life here on earth was not always perfect however she always lived it to the fullest. She can make anything she put her mind to from crocheting, to sewing, to cooking and baking. Even fixing the appliances. Even though she had very little she always made a house, a home. She would always help those when she could even if it was taking groceries out of her own house. She was known to speak her mind; most of the time no filter and gave nicknames. She liked her sweets, her coffee, and the Golden Girls.
Even though we know she has left us, we find peace knowing that she is reunited with her husband, son, and other family members. We will always love her and miss her more than she will ever know.
Pallbearers for Joyce are Gerald Montgomery, Larry Townsend, Jeremy Booth, Hayden Edwards, Ryan Retzloff, Jonathan Rios, and honorary pallbearer Jack Meeks.
“Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God: Believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”
John 14:1-4
