Jose R. Pedroza, 52, of Devine, Tx. passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 in San Antonio, Tx.
Jose was a great asset the community of Medina Co. He was a big influence in many community outreach programs. He served as a law enforcement officer for Medina Co., Frio Co., and La Salle Co. He served as a resource officer in all 3 counties and was a mentor as well as advocated for many of the students.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Gavino and Guadalupe Pedroza and brother, Estevan Pedroza.
Jose is survived by his wife Rosie Pedroza, children, Victoria Pedroza, Kassandra Contreras, Alexandra Pedroza, Maximus Pedroza, grandchildren, Gianna, Alyus, siblings, Ramon Pedroza, Sylvia Garcia, Silverio Pedroza, Tina Perez, Dorotea Pedroza, Carlos Pedroza, M. Christina Davila, Maria Ana Mendez, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 27, 2021, at 2:00PM till 9:00PM at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary being recited at 7:00PM. Communion Service will be celebrated Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with interment to follow in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery.
