Jose “Joe” M. Ayala, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2022.
He was born on September 6, 1929 in San Diego, California, to Severo and Adela Ruiz Ayala
He was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he served as Corporal, during the Korean War.
Jose was preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe; parents, Severo and Adela Ayala.
He is survived by daughters, Mary Parramore, and Laura Sanchez; 5 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren; and many sisters and brothers, who live in California.
He was a family man who was extremely intelligent, worked hard and was a natural “fix it man.” He will be missed by his friends, but mostly by his family.
A Graveside service will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022, 10:45 am, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
