John Kennedy Hernandez, of Devine, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Carrizo Springs at the age of 57.
John was born January 20, 1961 in Hondo to Jose Salome and Rosa (Macias) Hernandez, both who precede him.
He is survived by his children; Annette Marie Hernandez, Victoria Rose Hernandez and her twin brother, John Kennedy Hernandez, Jr and wife Abigail; sisters, Ofilia H. Pedroza and husband Roger, Ruby H. Lopez and husband Andrew; brother, Ernesto R. Hernandez and wife Ninfa; and grandchildren, Zeik Demetrius Mendez and Silas Kennedy Hernandez, and many nieces and nephews.
John was a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Devine, and the Knights of Columbus.
Visitation was held Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine, with rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral mass was Monday, July 16, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Devine, with interment following at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Devine.
