Joe Angel Gallegos, 87, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in Devine, Texas. He was born in Devine, Texas to Salomé and Carlota Gallegos on February 29, 1932.
He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, working in his shop and concrete construction. Everyone knew him to be a very hard worker. He was kind-hearted and willing to give others a job. He loved to laugh and joke a lot.
Joe will be lovingly remember by his wife of 39 years, Maria Gallegos, his Son Richard Gallegos, son Edward (Esmeralda) Gallegos and granddaughter Arabella Gallegos, step-son Juan (Rena) Chavera and step-grandchildren Heather (Marshal) Whitaker, Christina (Everett) Howton, Kimberly (Joshua) Nixon, Step grandson Stefan Chavera, and sisters Dora Dobbs and Anne Gallegos.
Joe Angel Gallegos is preceded in death by Salomé Gallegos (father), Carlota Gallegos (mother) Robert Gallegos, Johnny Gallegos, Willie Gallegos (brothers), Maria (Mary Lou) Rodriguez (sister, Mario Chavera (step-son) and Hilda Chavera (step-daughter).
