The local floral design class at Devine High School set out to build a record-breaking mum this Homecoming, and they have now submitted an application to Guiness Book of World Records.
“Students made 37 foot paper chains and streamers together to create a 39 foot mum,” said Mrs. Segura, the floral design teacher. “We are anxiously waiting for our spot in the record book!”
DHS student Yancey Parson was one of the many students who worked so hard on this project. She shared a little about how it all got started.
