The Hondo Art League will be awarding two $1000 scholarships for 2019 graduates. Applicants must live in Medina County and show talent in visual arts. Seniors graduating from D’Hanis High School, Devine High School, Natalia High School, Medina Valley High School, Hondo High School, or home schooled students residing in this county may apply.
To qualify for the scholarship, students must show aptitude in the visual arts, have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and be recommended by a counselor and the art teacher (or other teacher if the school does not offer art). Additionally, applicants will be required to present art work samples to the HAL Scholarship Committee.
