Hilario (Wayo) Zapata of Devine, Texas, went to be with the Lord, December 10, 2019, at the age of 76. He was born to Santos and Josefina Zapata, October 21, 1943.
He is preceded in death by his father, Santos Zapata Sr, brothers, Conception Zapata and Florencio Zapata and sister, Maria Zapata Balencia.
He is survived by his mother, Josefina Zapata, sisters Anselma Martinez, Janie Alvarado, Anita Pimental and Beatrice Zapata, brothers, Nieves Zapata, Bravlio Zapata,
Gilbert Zapata, Santos Zapata Jr, Emilio Zapata, wife, Mary, Zapata, daughters, Christina Gutierrez and Bernie, Berlinda Andrade and Samuel Jr, Dolores Caballero and Albert, Isabel Garza and Orlando, and Annabel Zapata, grandchildren, Desriee Gonzales, Tara Cortinas, Christopher Soto, Nathaniel DeLeon, Diego Zapata, Abriella Garza, Mia Andrade, Lexi Andrade, and Noah Garza, great-grandchildren, Anaya Jones, Aliyah Jones, and Riley Cortinas.
Viewing was held 6-9 PM, Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the St John Bosco Catholic Church, Natalia, Texas with the Rosary at 7 PM. The Funeral Mass at 10 AM at St John Bosco Catholic Church, Natalia, Texas followed by the graveside service at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Devine, Texas.
