Friddle named new finance director at Natalia ISD

Norma Friddle was unanimously hired as the new Executive Director of Finance for Natalia ISD during the School Board meeting held on Monday, December 10.
Friddle has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree from UTSA, and is a Registered Texas School Business Administrator (RTSBA). She comes to the district from Charter School Success, where she was the Director of Finance, and was previously Director of Special Revenues & Compliance and Director of Budget & Internal Review at Comal ISD.
She is set to begin her role at Natalia on Monday, Dec. 16.
“I am excited about the experience Ms. Friddle brings to the table from a reputable district like Comal ISD,” Board President Eric Smith said. “I look forward to the leadership and vision she will bring to the finance department.”
Friddle was also a district accountant at Del Valle ISD, and an energy resources auditor at the Texas General Land Office.
“I’ve had a lot of wonderful experience in budgets, finance, and the accounting world,” Friddle said. “I’m looking forward to getting the budget season started.”
Friddle replaces former Executive Director of Finance Paul Michels, who resigned on October 30 after the Board questioned the transfer of $756,009 from the Capital Projects Fund to the General Fund.
