Free Heart Strong luncheon Feb. 13

Traditionally the month for lovers and all things heart related, February also reminds us to take care of our heart. It is American Heart Month. In Medina County the total cardiovascular disease deaths is 46 per 10,000 population compared Texas statewide which is 43.
To help battle this mostly preventable disease you are invited to a Heart Strong Luncheon. Heart strong is a free luncheon to learn about healthy lifestyle habits to prevent heart disease and connect attendees to community resources.
The Heart Strong Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2018 at the Medina Regional Hospital Board Room. It will begin at 11:30 am and will conclude at 1:00 pm. The event is free and open to the public.

The luncheon is presented by Texas A&M AgriLife-Medina County; Medina Healthcare System and Methodist Healthcare Ministries.
