Florencio Zapata age 59, of Devine, Texas passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2019 in Devine, Texas. Florencio was born November 10, 1959 in Hondo, Texas to Santos Zapata Sr. and Josephina Gonzales Zapata.
Florencio is preceded in death by his father, Santos Zapata, Sr; brother, Concepcion Zapata; sister, Maria Balencia.
Florencio is survived by his wife, Juanita M. Zapata; sons, Anthony Zapata; Isaias Zapata (Kristie); daughter, Alyssa Zapata; brothers, Jesus H. Zapata, Nievies Zapata, Braulio Zapata, Gilbert Zapata, Santos Zapata, Jr., Emilio Zapata; sisters ,Anselma Martinez, Janie Alvarado, Anita Pimentel, Beatrice Zapata; grandchildren, Destiny, Angelina, Anthony Jr., Ethan, Savannah, Gideon, Judah, Moses, Olivia.
Visitation was Sunday, March 31, 2019 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited 6:00 P.M. Hurley Funeral Home Chapel Devine, Texas. Funeral Service was held Monday, April 1, 2019 10:00 A.M. Hurley Funeral Home Chapel Devine, Texas with internment following in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
