ESD4 looks to hire EMS Director,Plans to lease Ambulances, build a new station and go back to locally run service for Devine/Natalia

The Medina County Emergency Services District No.4 announced this week they are accepting applications until March 31 for a new position, EMS Director. The EMS Director will run the service locally with leased ambulances as of October 1, 2024 instead of hiring a provider like they have done for many years. The current provider is Allegiance, whom they pay 16,666.67 a month for their EMS service to Devine and Natalia areas. Devine operated the EMS service locally many years ago.
