Eloy San Miguel Alvarado, Jr. age 63 of Devine, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, in San Antonio, Texas.
Eloy was a kind, hardworking, and generous person. He was filled with joy when he spoke of how proud he was of his children. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren succeed in music, sports, and academics. He shared his gifts broadly with his work, church, and community. He loved his family unconditionally, always putting their needs above everything else. He loved being Grampy.
He is Survived by his wife, Leonor Alvarado; children, Adam and Tamera Alvarado, Dr. Antonio and Jenny Alvarado, Aricel Alvarado, and Jesse and Leslie Zamarron; grandchildren, Bryanna Lorren and Rafael, Liliana Juliet, Vivianna Ranae, Avyana Ellyce, Mateo Vicente; Alexander Paul, Andre Michael, Abagale Marcia; Mia Francis, Nayeli Bertha, Reylan Eloy; and great granddaughter, Marina Arabella; brother, John Alvarado; sister, Grace Riley and husband, Terry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eloy and Mary Lou Alvarado,nephew, Joe Riley.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Devine, Texas. Live steaming will be available for some of the service.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021, 8:00 A.M.,Hurley Funeral Home Chapel Devine, Texas.Friday, January 8, 2021, Rosary will be recited at 9:15 A.M. with Mass celebrated at 10:00 A.M. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Devine, Texas with internment to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
