Arabians place 11 on All-District softball team

Brittany Jay was named District 29-4A Offensive MVP.
Jessie Ramirez was named District 29-4A co-Newcomer of the Year.

Eleven Arabians were selected for the District 29-4A All-District teams.
Senior Brittany Jay was named Offensive MVP, and sophomore Jessie Ramirez was chosen co-Newcomer of the Year alongside Pearsall’s Emy Carrillo.
Seniors Amanda Wilson, Brooklyn Anderson, Kim Freeman, Jaylyn Stewart, and Jenna Sadler, as well as junior Taylor Carr, were 1st Team All-District selections.
Seniors Tori Martin and Korin Stehle and sophomore Julie Ortiz were named to the 2nd Team All-District squad.
Devine went 6-2 in District, finishing in second place behind Pearsall. The Arabians took on Somerset in a one-game Bi-District playoff on April 27 and fell 3-1 in a hard-fought contest.
The Arabians finished with an overall record of 21-7.
