Edward W. “Doc” Dougherty age 72 of Devine, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Edward G. Dougherty and Jean G. McIntyre; brother, George Dougherty.
Edward is survived by his wife, Sandy Dougherty of Devine, Texas; sons, David (Renee) Dougherty of Devine, Texas; Damon (Desra) Dougherty of Devine, Texas; Scott (Michelle) Dougherty of Conroe, Texas; Brother-in-law, Tommy Rice of Sulphur, Louisiana; Nieces, Erin Dougherty of Tampa, Florida; Tricia Swanner of Sulphur, Louisiana; Dawn Dougherty of Tampa, Florida; nephew, Neale Rice of Sulphur, Louisiana; grandchildren, Dakota (Ryan) Mullins of Pleasanton, Texas; Ashtyn Dougherty of Devine, Texas; Trace Daugherty of Devine, Texas; Holden Dougherty of Devine, Texas; Hunter Dougherty of Devine, Texas; Brooklyn Anderson of Devine, Texas; Payton Anderson of Devine, Texas; Ryan Chambers or Conroe, Texas; Sarah Schiff of Oneonta, New York; Darian Dougherty of Alvin, Texas; Emma Schiff of Conroe, Texas; Allison Dougherty of Dickerson, Texas; Anna Shiff of Conroe, Texas; great-grandchildren, Bradie and Porter Mullins of Devine, Texas.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church of Devine, Texas. There will be NO visitation at Hurley Funeral Home prior to Services.
