Graveside service for Edna Virginia Roof Jackson, 102, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 3, 2018 in the Lytle Community Cemetery in Lytle.
Edna Jackson passed away on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018. She was born Friday, August 6, 1915 in Godley to George Edward and Lula Virginia Theresa Grant Roof. She married Raymond Leniol Jackson on March 17, 1945 in San Antonio and he preceded her in death on March 26, 1969.
Mrs. Jackson “Gannie” was a homemaker and earlier worked as a seamstress. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cleburne.
Survivors include her children, Ray Jackson of Ft. Worth, Len Jackson and wife, LaRita of Cleburne and Ginger Jackson Smith of Cleburne; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Pat Smith; and daughter-in-law, Becky Jackson.
