Early voting underway in Natalia ISD School Board election


Incumbent Natalia ISD School Board members Paul Almendarez and Tiffany Rodriguez are facing a challenge for a spot on the board by fellow candidate Frank Garza.
Early voting began Monday, Oct. 23 and runs through Friday, Oct. 27 before breaking for the weekend and picking up again on Monday, Oct. 30 through Friday, Nov. 3. Early votes can be cast from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Medina County Annex building at 317 Hwy. 132 N. in Devine, at the Medina County Annex building at 8366 FM 471 S. in Castroville, and at the Medina County Elections Department at 1202 14th St. in Hondo.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 7 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. In addition to the County Annex buildings in Devine and Castroville, votes can also be cast at Natalia First Baptist Church at 301 Pearson St. in Natalia, the Hondo Public Library at 2003 Ave. K in Hondo, the D’Hanis Community Center at 7475 CR 524 in D’Hanis, and at the Mico Volunteer Fire Department at 7121 CR 271 in Mico.
The Natalia School Board and Lytle ISD bond election are the only area issues up for a vote. Statewide, voters will weigh in on seven possible amendments to the State Constitution.
