Devine Police Report Sept. 21-27


Sept. 21
7:02 PM – A meth pipe was located in the 200 block of N. Teel Dr.
7:10 PM – Officers assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic stop in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. Deputy requested additional units for vehicle search.
9:45 PM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of Mobile Parkway in reference to two to three subjects on property; unable to locate.
Sept. 22
6:45 AM – Officer dispatched to the 300 block of Briscoe Ave. in reference to a resident acting out and breaking windows. The subject was taken the Southwest General Hospital by EMS to treat injuries.
12:08 PM – A citizen found a debit card.
12:45 PM – Complainant reported damage to the rear passenger window of his vehicle while at Walmart between 5:00 pm and 10:30 pm on Sept. 21.
4:30 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of Hwy. 132 N. reported someone kicked her car and left dents. Footprints left on car.
9:00 PM – Officers dispatched to the 400 block of N. Teel Dr. in reference to a male subject standing near the front door. Officers were assisted by Natalia PD.
Sept. 23
12:10 AM – Officers dispatched to CR 6851 in reference to an officer needing assistance. One male subject was actively resisting a Natalia PD officer with several parties on location.
1:09 AM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of W. Moore Ave. in reference to a loud noise coming from residence. Officers made contact with resident and advised to turn it down. All was okay.
2:29 AM – Officers dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a vehicle following complainant. Vehicles left prior to officers’ arrival. Followed out to city limits.
Sept. 24
3:45 AM – Courtesy ride given to one adult female subject to the 1000 block of CR 5710.
3:52 AM – Courtesy ride given to one adult male subject to the 1500 block of CR 665.
10:04 AM – Complainant on Wedgewood Way reporting losing a Jeep key. Documentation only.
10:23 AM – Complainant reported losing Chevy keys on Sept. 22.
12:29 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 1200 block of W. Hondo Ave. The male driver was cited and released for driving without a license.
12:56 PM – Open 911 phone line at Devine High School. All was okay; phone line trouble.
3:05 PM – Complainant in the 5000 block of Hwy. 173 N. reported losing Dodge truck keys. Documentation only.
8:16 PM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of LC Martin Dr. in reference to a verbal disturbance between a male and female. All was okay.
Sept. 25
4:57 AM – Officer assisted DPS with a vehicle in the ditch in the 600 block of FM 2200 W. Vehicle came back with an address in the 600 block of FM 2200. Officer spoke with the registered owner, who said he would get the vehicle out when it was daylight.
8:20 AM – Complainant requested documentation about receiving scam calls for several days.
2:45 PM – Two subjects in the 500 block of Hayden Ave. were attacked by a swarm of bees and were transported to the hospital.
4:40 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of N. Transportation Dr. requested officer for her 19-year-old son having suicidal thoughts.
11:08 PM – Three male subjects were walking near the clubhouse of the Devine Golf Course. One was wearing a red shirt, one wearing white, no description on the third. Unable to locate.
Sept. 26
2:43 AM – Two male subjects on location in the 500 block of Ross Dr. They were waiting for the owner’s son to pick them up to drive to Michigan to pick up a forklift.
6:40 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. advised a white SUV pulled into another location in the 700 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. and the passenger went inside. MCSO Deputy stopped the vehicle in the 100 block of Allman Dr. The occupants advised they were dropping off a sink at a house being built.
8:53 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of Lee spoke to officer in reference to a civil matter between herself and a male subject.
9:08 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of Pilgrim Dr. reported a Hispanic female wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and carrying a bag for suspicious activity. The subject was last seen on Peggy Dr.
9:21 AM – A 17-year-old male subject from the 300 block of Hayden Ave. was entered as a runaway.
10:10 AM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. in reference to a fraudulent check. Under investigation.
4:37 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Fullerton advised she saw two male subjects stealing a riding lawn mower from a residence.
7:06 PM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of Dilley in reference to harassing text messages received by complainant’s boyfriend. Officers made location and talked to both parties. Parties separated.
Sept. 27
8:10 AM – Female subject met with officers in reference to an incident that occurred with her daughter at Walmart on Sept. 26.
1:18 PM – A male subject was picked up for eight municipal warrants.
8:40 PM – Officer dispatched in reference to loud music in the area. Located in the 500 block of Hayden Ave. Music was turned down.
10:18 PM – Officer dispatched to Hwy. 173 in reference to an 18-wheeler all over the roadway. Officer made location and stopped the 18-wheeler. No action taken.
11:36 PM – Officer assisted MCSO with a physical disturbance in progress in the 100 block of CR 668. Officer made location and provided cover and support.
