Devine Police Report Nov. 30-Dec. 7


Nov. 30
11:24 PM – Officers dispatched to the 600 block of N. Windy Knoll Dr. in reference to a pickup truck driving fast with loud music. Loud popping noise came from the vehicle, unknown if it was gunshots or mechanical issue. Checked area; unable to locate.
11:55 PM – Complainant reported a white tour bus driving recklessly on IH-35 SB. Officers made location; unable to locate.
Dec. 1
4:00 AM – Complainant reported a red Hyundai driving recklessly on IH-35 NB. Unable to locate.
5:18 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Zig Zag Ave. observed someone running out his back yard and found a window open. Officers made location and patrolled the area. Complainant didn’t have items missing.
7:00 PM – A male subject was in the middle of Dilley Ave. barefoot. His shoes were being washed at the laundromat. Officer gave the subject a ride to the laundromat.
8:30 PM – A male subject in the 700 block of N. Teel Dr. was given a courtesy ride to his residence.
11:00 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on Benton Ave. The male driver had a Medina County warrant for assault family violence – impeding breath and was jailed. 5.2 grams of meth was located at the jail.
Dec. 2
12:00 AM – Officer advised of a small black pickup occupied with a female subject in reference to criminal mischief in the county. Unable to locate.
12:24 AM – Officer assisted with traffic control for an accident on IH-35 SB.
3:37 AM – A female subject was located at a storage unit in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy under suspicious circumstances.
1;13 PM – Officers dispatched to the 600 block of Pilgrim Dr in reference to three male subjects breaking into an abandoned trailer. Officers cleared the trailer and searched the area; unable to locate. All was okay.
4:57 PM – Officers dispatched to IH-35 NB in reference to a male subject in a black pickup possibly exposing himself. Unable to locate.
11:46 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of W. Hondo Ave. A female subject was cited for driving without a license and released.
Dec. 3
12:25 AM – Complainant advised he walked away and left money in an ATM that was picked up by the next car.
4:01 PM – Complainant advised that gifts were taken from their wedding celebration at Triple C.
11:12 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 600 block of Hondo Ave. A male subject was cited for driving without a license and released.
Dec. 4
5:50 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of Lee Dr. reported that a shed was broken into. Two Hoover Steamvacs were taken.
6:30 PM – Officer dispatched to CR 5710 in reference to a young kid sitting on the side of the road. The kid could not cross due to dogs chasing him. The kid was given a ride home.
6:38 PM – Officer dispatched to the 600 block of McAnnelly Ave. in reference to a male knocking on doors trying to see electricity. Area searched, unable to locate.
7:20 PM – Officer made contact with a male and female sitting on the curb in the 300 block of DuBose Ave. Subject was a Reliance employee.
Dec. 5
7:08 AM – Power outage; traffic lights out at intersection in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. Devine Fire assisted with traffic control.
1:56 PM – Complainant reported she lost the birth certificates and Socials for her five children.
Dec. 6
5:45 AM – Complainant in the 1000 block of Malone Dr. spoke to officer in reference to her boyfriend arguing with her.
4:51 PM – 20-year-old male wearing a red backpack possibly standing on the tracks on Hwy. 132.
6:25 PM – A 17-year-old male subject from the 600 block of S. Tilley Dr. ran away from home and was entered in the state computer. The subject returned home on Dec. 9.
6:45 PM – Officers dispatched to the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy in reference to a male subject on the train tracks. Officers checked the area; unable to locate.
9:35 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Hickory Hwy reported a woman yelling and screaming in the area. Unable to locate; all was okay.
10:01 PM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of N. Transportation Dr. in reference to someone hearing yelling and loud noises in the area. Officers made location and located one male unloading a bed onto property. The male had permission to do so; all was okay.
Dec. 7
10:10 AM – A male and female in the 400 block of Lee Dr. were engaged in a verbal dispute. The female was out of control.
11:40 AM – An adult female in the 400 block of Lee Dr. was transported to University Hospital for an emergency detention.
2:35 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of N. Upson Dr. advised graffiti was spray painted all over the restrooms.
4:17 PM – Caller advised to check low crossings on Brown, McAnnelly, and Colonial Pkwy. Officer closed McAnnelly and Brown crossings.
