Devine Police Report Nov. 22-Nov. 26

Nov. 22
3:53 PM – Two Hispanic males in a white SUV were asking for money in the 100 block of IH-35 S. The subjects were ID’d arrested for public intoxication. Officers assisted by DPS and the Medina County Sheriff’s Office.
8:47 PM – Vehicle stopped on E. Hondo Ave. for a traffic violation. The male driver was cited and released for driving without a license.
9:23 PM – Complainant on Washington Dr. reported a suspicious green Navigator. Unable to locate.
Nov. 23
2:46 PM – Complainant in the 400 block of N. Teel Dr. stated the driver of an 18-wheeler hit a metal fence on the receiving side of the building. The driver was ID’d. All was okay.
5:57 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of Galbreath stated her son was yelling at her and attempted to hit her. Unable to locate.
6:20 PM – Complainant advised she hit a deer while driving on Hwy. 132 NB. Deer was put down by officer. Dispatch was notified of shots fired.
Nov. 25
4:00 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of Wedgewood Way advised several dogs in the area were barking. Area searched, unable to locate.
8:29 AM – Complainant in the 500 block of Corley Dr. reported an 18-wheeler parked on the roadway. Officer made contact with the driver, who agreed to move the truck.
11:02 AM – Complainant in the 500 block of Howell Ave. reported an older female in a black sweater and black pants was walking down the road taking pictures of residences. Complainant lost sight of the subject on Thompson Ave.
11:06 AM – Complainant in the 500 block of N. Teel Dr. reported that tires and a tree stump were placed in the roadway on N. Bright Dr. Contact was made, and the roadway was cleared. All was okay.
4:35 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of N. Windy Knoll Dr. reported a gray Camry and light-colored pickup truck racing on the roadway. Unable to locate.
7:40 PM – Possible truck tractor on fire on IH-35 SB near mile marker 122. The truck tractor turbo had broken and caused a lot of smoke. All was okay.
Nov. 26
10:13 AM – Complainant reported a white Dodge super cab pickup truck following her, swerving in and out of traffic and yelling at people waiting outside the food pantry.
11:03 AM – Officer dispatched to W. Hondo Ave. in reference to 18-wheelers hauling gravel and speeding. Officer made location but didn’t observe any violations by 18-wheelers.
11:14 AM – Complainant found a pink wallet on the side of the road. The wallet was returned to its owner by PD.
