Nov. 2

2:39 PM – Officer served two active warrants on a female subject, who was jailed.
7:33 PM – Upset complainant in the 300 block of Hwy. 132 N. advised two vehicles were driving slow and then fast. Unable to locate.
9:00 PM – Officers dispatched to Devine city limits in reference to individuals believed to be dumping animals.
10:25 PM – Officers dispatched to Sonic Drive-In in reference to a male who threw water with ice at a truck on location. Male left location prior to arrival. Truck owner did not want to pursue charges.
Nov. 3
3:58 AM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of IH-35 SB in reference to a truck that had gone off the roadway. Unable to locate; all was okay.
9:20 AM – Complainant in the 800 block of CR 665 reported that his vehicle was struck by a hit and run on CR 5710.
9:30 AM – All officers involved in Fall Festival Parade.
10:05 AM – Officers provided traffic control on Hwy. 173 for an oversized load getting onto IH-35 SB.
1:21 PM – Officers assisted Medina County Sheriff’s Deputy with a suspicious male in the 700 block of FM 2200. The male subject was identified, and his father made location. The male subject was issued a criminal trespass warning for the location.
3:06 PM – Officer dispatched to the 300 block of Lorraine Dr. in reference to suspicious activity. A male subject was located in the 500 block of N. Transportation Dr.
3:45 PM – Complainant reported a Nissan Altima driving recklessly in the 1800 block of Hwy. 173. Unable to locate.
7:15 PM – Complainant reported a silver Toyota all over the road in the 1200 block of W. Hondo Ave. Unable to locate.
8:58 PM – Officers dispatched to the 200 block of Hayden Ave. in reference to juveniles fighting in a vacant lot.
10:10 PM – Officer dispatched to Walmart for a welfare check in reference to a call from OnStar stating that the panic button was hit inside a silver Nissan. All was okay; the Nissan was unoccupied and nothing appeared unusual.
10:20 PM – Officers unlocked vehicle for complainant at Amigos Country Corner.
Nov. 4
2:50 AM – Officers dispatched to the 100 block of Galbreath Ave. in reference to a large party on location. Officers made location and talked to the homeowner.
12:45 PM – Officers dispatched to the 600 block of Thompson in reference to a 911 hang-up. A young child was dialing 911. All was okay; the child was playing with the phone.
1:12 PM – Officers assisted an elderly female whose vehicle broke down in the 500 block of Rossville Rd.
4:46 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of McAnnely reported that a dog followed someone home. Pictures were taken.
7:06 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Mockingbird Ln reported that tenants in the 300 block of Lee Dr. took property before moving out.
9:09 PM – Officer dispatched to IH-35 NB in reference to an 18-wheeler all over the road. Unable to locate.
11:30 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of Fernandez Ave. reported that an unknown male subject was possibly in the back yard. Unable to locate.
Nov. 5
6:28 AM – Officer assisted DPS with a major accident in the 700 block of Hwy. 173 S.
8:55 AM – Complainant reported an iPhone 7 was left in the restroom at McDonalds.
9:00 AM – Complainant in the 900 block of W. Hondo Ave. reported 18-wheelers driving fast in front of his business.
12:03 PM – Complainant reported a juvenile on train tressel. Unable to locate.
12:05 PM – Complainant at Walmart parked in a handicap spot and locked her keys in her car. Officer unlocked the car.
12:20 PM – Received teletype for possible vehicle coming into city limits and being occupied with two juveniles.
12:32 PM – Officers recovered a vehicle stolen from San Antonio in the 600 block of W. Moore Ave. Two juvenile male runaways were located in the stolen vehicle.
12:40 PM – Officer assisted another agency by running a local record check on a female subject.
2:20 PM – Ciavarra Elementary Principal spoke to School Resource Officer in reference to a female student having trouble adapting.
3:47 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of McAnnely reported that a female German Shepherd with a pink collar had been gone for two months.
9:20 PM – Officer assisted Public Works by closing restrooms at the City park.
9:25 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 400 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. A male subject was cited and released for driving while license invalid.
9:45 PM – A resident of a local boarding house was almost struck by a vehicle in the 1000 block of W. Hondo Ave.
Nov. 6
12:03 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. The driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
12:06 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of W. Hondo Ave. was involved in a disturbance with her boyfriend, possibly physical at one point. All was okay.
12:37 AM – Report of a possibly homeless male subject on location at store in the 1000 block of W. Hondo Ave. Subject departed prior to officers’ arrival.
2:40 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of Live Oak Dr. advised a dark-colored 4-door sedan was driving repeatedly in the area and then stopped. Officers made contact with and ID’d the female driver, who was looking for a friend but was unable to provide an address. The female departed the location; all was okay.
8:35 AM – Lights at intersection on Hwy. 173 not working properly. Officer made location and the lights were working. TxDot was notified.
2:49 PM – Officers provided an escort from Devine High School to IH-35 for the Arabian cross country team.
4:35 PM – Possible theft of a 2011 gray Malibu. Unknown direction of travel. MCSO Deputy advised he spotted a gray Malibu in Devine on Dilley Ave. The vehicle was located and two juveniles were detained. One was taken to the juvenile detention center.
4:37 PM – Complainant walked into PD and advised she and her husband were in a physical altercation at a store in the 700 block of N. Teel Dr.
8:14 PM – Officer searched Jay Dr. for a truck parked near the roadway. Area searched and unable to locate.
Nov. 7
6:26 AM – Officer assisted MCSO with a suspicious male on location in the 100 block of IH-35 N. The subject was trying to get to Hondo. Officer brought the subject to PD until another officer made location to give the subject a courtesy ride.
9:51 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of S. Jamison Dr. reported suspicious activity; a Hispanic male wearing a baseball cap was driving a maroon Chevy 4-door pickup truck with the driver’s window halfway down. Officers made location and patrolled the area; unable to locate.
3:00 PM – Complainant in the 200 block of N. Bright Dr. advised she lost a big pink wallet containing her Texas driver’s license and cash.
Nov. 8
10:26 AM – Complainant in the 300 block of E. Hondo Ave. advised the back window of a vehicle was broken.
10:45 AM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of N. Teel Dr. for a panic alarm. An employee accidentally hit the button while cleaning; all was okay.
1:04 PM – Complainant had a question about a purchase he made on the Internet.
1:33 PM – Received a protective order for a male subject.
2:30 PM – A City worker found a backpack at the City park.
3:03 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of S. Jamison Dr. reported that a care provider was talking back to client and wasn’t supposed to be on location.
3:28 PM – A male student at DHS has been having suicidal thoughts and wanted to tell his dad in front of the School Resource Officer.
4:15 PM – Natural death at Devine Health and Rehab.
5:40 PM – Assisted Natalia PD with traffic control on IH-35 NB.
7:55 PM – Officer assisted with 18-wheelers clearing the intersections on E. Hondo Ave.
