July 12
1:50 PM – Male subject in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. lost his phone, valued at $80.00.
5:00 PM – Someone took pressure washer at Pizza Hut.
July 13
12:12 AM – Verbal disturbance between male and female in the 100 block of N. Teel Dr. Subjects left prior to officer’s arrival.
6:08 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on IH-35 NB access road. The male driver was found to be intoxicated. Assisted by DPS.
11:58 AM – Officer dispatched to the 500 block of Gutierrez Ave. in reference to someone burning. The fire was already out. Homeowner was advised not to burn anymore.
5:00 PM – Complainant on IH-35 SB reported a green Dodge all over the roadway.
7:43 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Transportation Dr. advised that trash was being burned in a back yard. A female subject was advised to extinguish the fire.
9:28 PM – Officer dispatched to the 400 block of Davis Ave. in reference to loud music. Officer made contact with homeowner and music was turned down.
July 14
12:08 AM – Officers dispatched to the 1100 block of W. Hondo Ave. in reference to loud music. Officers made contact with homeowner and music was turned down.
12:45 AM – Report of a female that appeared to be intoxicated in a white car last seen traveling westbound on W. Hondo Ave. Unable to locate.
11:55 AM – Complainant reported a gray 18-wheeler with Michigan license plates unable to maintain a lane on IH-35 SB. Unable to locate.
6:24 PM – Complainant in the 400 block of Davis Ave. advised that people were under his residence. No one located. A male subject was placed on an emergency detention and transported to Southwest General Hospital by EMS.
11:20 PM – Officer dispatched to the 900 block of Teel Dr. in reference to a verbal disturbance between males over being cut off. All was okay.
11:52 PM – Theft of a graduation ring during work hours at McDonalds.
July 15
12:28 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of Libold Dr. reported a male subject wearing a black shirt and khaki pants was carrying a phone and walking back and forth. Unable to locate.
2:52 PM – A door at Dairy Queen was shattered after a disturbance occurred inside the restaurant. A male subject left in a brown truck with a welder in the bed. His girlfriend and mother stayed behind and waited to speak to officer. The mother stated she would pay for the door repairs and DQ agreed no charges would be filed.
10:56 PM – Alarm activated at Chaparral Ford. Four individuals seen on surveillance cameras. No one on property upon officer’s arrival.
July 16
8:28 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of E. Coker Ave. advised an ex-tenant was attempting to take the A/C unit from a window.
11:25 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. advised a male subject was on location asking for money from customers. Unable to locate.
1:42 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Washington Dr. reported a male subject in an unmarked truck was digging up the yard. All was okay; it was the City replacing a water meter. Officer left message for complainant.
8:50 PM – Officer assisted a Medina County Sheriff’s Deputy who requested a Spanish speaker. All was okay.
10:15 PM – A male subject in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. failed to identify himself. Subject was served with a warrant. Assisted by DPS and MCSO.
July 17
12:25 AM – A male subject walking with a backpack stepped into a lane of travel on IH-35 SB. The subject was identified and located by MCSO at the Bigfoot exit. All was okay.
10:04 AM – Complainant in the 800 block of Flores Ave. advised there was a gold 4-door car driving down the road with a sign in the back window reading “Advantage.” Officer advised the complainant that the driver has a City permit to sell books to the community.
5:30 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of King Ave. reported a suspicious male solicitor coming to the residence three different times throughout the day.
6:20 PM – Officer dispatched to the 800 block of Flores Ave. in reference to a male solicitor coming to her residence several different times and driving on the street several times throughout the day, making the complainant feel uncomfortable.
6:20 PM – Complainant in the 700 block of Gutierrez spoke to officer in reference to a male solicitor coming to his residence and driving around the area all day.
5:22 PM – Report of a white van with windows down that has been parked in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. for over a week. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of San Antonio. Friendly Glenn’s wrecker took possession. Assisted by MCSO.
July 19
12:58 AM – Officer assisted the MCSO with clearing a residence in the 100 block of CR 7715. All was okay.
1:41 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Monticello Cir. reported a vehicle that had remained in the alley. Officer made contact with Friendly Glenn’s to remove the vehicle.
2:16 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of W. Dilley Ave. advised that two older suspicious females were walking in the area and requested a patrol-by.
7:13 PM – A black iPhone and a black case containing a fully loaded handgun with a spare magazine was left in the basket of an electric scooter at Walmart. The gun was run through dispatch and was not reported stolen. The owner came to PD at 8:09 PM and identified the property, which was released to him.
8:51 PM – Complainant reported a golf cart driving up and down Jamison Dr. Unable to locate.
July 21
5:01 AM – Officer dispatched to the 400 block of Wilkins Way in reference to a verbal disturbance between a couple. The couple separated for the night; all was okay.
8:23 AM – Complainant reported a red 18-wheeler with a white trailer swerving while traveling south on Hwy. 173. Unable to locate.
12:56 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. advised a male and female who used to be his tenants in Natalia started a verbal disturbance trying to get their deposit back. Complainant advised the male subject has threatened him on three separate occasions.
July 22
12:29 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of Lee Dr. reported his ex-girlfriend entered the residence and attacked him. The ex-girlfriend left prior to officer’s arrival.
6:37 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of Cardinal Dr. reported a suspicious gray 4-door vehicle had been parked next to the residence for over an hour. All was okay.
5:53 PM – Officer dispatched to the 200 block of Hwy. 132 N. in reference to two vehicles on location. All was okay, subjects were leaving.
July 23
9:17 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of Dixon Dr. advised their trash can was taken from their home.
1:36 PM – Officer spoke to an irate customer at City Hall who was upset about receiving a letter from Code Compliance. The customer had complied and was advised to disregard the letter.
6:00 PM – Complainant advised she lost her purse at Walmart on July 22 around 8:30 PM.
7:00 PM – Officer assisted DPS with Spanish speaking on a traffic stop on IH-35 SB. Officer watched the violator as DPS searched the vehicle.
8:05 PM – Officer dispatched to the 300 block of Loraine Dr. in reference to two solicitors without permits. Both advised they would stop for the night.
July 24
12:06 AM – Complainant in the 600 block of Howell Ave. was having problems with her 15-year-old daughter, who had taken off on foot but returned after officer arrived on scene.
11:12 AM – Officers assisted CPS with keeping the peace while CPS obtained possession of two minor children from within a home in the 700 block of N. Windy Knoll Dr.
9:55 PM – Complainant at Pizza Hut reported a customer stole the red pepper and parmesan cheese shakers from a table.
July 25
6:19 AM – Complainant in the 300 block of Ross Dr. advised a red Chevy pickup pulled into the old peanut factory and pulled toward the back. Officer located the truck in the 300 block of Webb Ave.
11:15 AM – Report of several red tool boxes that fell off a Lonestar Wrecker truck. PD made contact with the driver, who advised the tool boxes were not his. Unable to locate.
