Devine Police Report Jan. 18-24

Jan. 18
3:40 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Mockingbird Ln. called 911 requesting officer then phone disconnected. Disturbance between mother and daughter. The daughter had a warrant out of Bexar Co. for possession of dangerous drugs, and was also found to be in possession of pain pills without a prescription and was jailed.
11:35 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on IH-35. A male subject was found to be in possession of 0-2 oz. of marijuana and was jailed.
Jan. 19
2:05 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on Rosewood. The male driver was found to be intoxicated and was jailed.
4:16 AM – Complainant in the 500 block of N. Sayers Dr. reported a silver Mustang parked in a yard. Complainant was advised it was not a traffic hazard, and he would have to call a tow truck company if they didn’t want it on property.
3:33 PM – Off-duty Hondo PD officer called in regarding a male subject sitting in a car in the Walmart parking lot possibly using drugs. All was okay; subject was an employee and was on break eating lunch. No narcotics found.
8:39 PM – Officers dispatched to the 600 block of Rossville Rd regarding a female complainant’s claims a male subject was on location with a gun. Officers made location; the male was in converse, and the female was intoxicated. Possible false report or 911 abuse.
10:40 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Williamsburg Rd. heard shots fired in the area. Officers patrolled area.
Jan. 21
7:41 PM – Officer dispatched to FM 2200 in reference to an elderly female subject walking on the roadway. The subject appeared lost and confused.
Jan. 22
10:05 AM – Subject brought in miniature copies of five dollar bills.
1:51 PM – Complainant in the 1000 block of E. Malone Dr. lost a pink phone with debit cards inside the phone case pockets on Jan. 20.
Jan. 23
12:39 AM – A male subject in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. was disoriented. Officers contacted his wife and released him to her custody.
4:59 AM – Report of a male subject who had been on location at Love’s Truck Stop for several hours. Officer located the subject, who was taken back to his facility.
4:00 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Mockingbird Ln. called 911 and stated he was scared. A father was arguing with his son. All was okay.
Jan. 24
12:32 PM – Complainant advised her sister lost her driver’s license. Document only.
10:00 PM – Officers dispatched to Walmart regarding a road rage incident that occurred just north of Devine on Hwy. 173. Officers made contact with one party.
