Devine High School is hosting their annual Homecoming this Friday night, October 9, 2020 with a football game and homecoming court.
The coronation of this year’s Homecoming Queen will take place before the game as usual at 7:00 p.m.
Four senior girls and four boys were nominated to represent the Senior Class of 2021 in which one will be crowned the DHS Homecoming Queen and one the DHS King.
Senior Queen nominees are: Pauline Calame, Dasslyn Coronado, Laurel Spannagel, and Allyson Taylor.
Senior King nominees are: Gilbert Iglesias, Xsavior Martinez, Fabian “Buddy” Santos, and Geoffrey Seal.
Chosen to represent the younger classes are: Juniors: Ashlyn Crossland and Wyatt Spivey. Sophomores: Jacquelyn Schreck and Blain Davis. Freshman: MacKayla Schnautz and Brandon Martinez.
Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. between the Warhorses and the Carrizo Springs Wildcats.
Due to covid restrictions the annual Thursday night pep rally will not take place.
The students will celebrate as they have this year with a pep rally at roll call on Friday morning outside the front of DHS.
