Daryce Arvilla Crouse-Nottingham was born October 9, 1925 in Sherman County, KS. She went to rejoice with the Lord on August 20, 2017, at the age of 91. Her parents, who have preceded her in death, were John and Viola Talbot. She worked at Southwestern Bell for 41 years and 11 months and taught Sunday school at Faith Baptist Church in San Antonio, TX for more than 40 years. On January 6, 1952, she married Kenneth Marshall Nottingham. They were married 43 years at the time of his death, August 9, 1995.
Survivors include her sisters; Kate Rojean James, Donna Fern Boubel, daughter; Beverly Johnson, grandchildren and their spouses; Marcella and David Morris, Damon and Jennifer Johnson, great-grandchildren; Denver Johnson, Dawn Morris, Zacheriah Johnson, McKayla Morris, Damon Johnson Jr, and Angelina Johnson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Her brothers Clifford Glade Crouse and Alva Blaine Crouse have preceded her in death. She will dearly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South, followed by interment in Mission Burial Park South.
