County to meet about $220,000 flooring mistake for new courthouse

According to local county commissioner Jerry Beck, the Medina County Commissioner’s Court “had a special meeting on Monday and found out that the terrazo floor that was installed in the Courthouse Annex was the wrong color. Just a $220,000 mistake. Now we gotta decide whether to leave it or change it. The intended floor was definitely better lookin than the one installed. Problem is, its gonna cost to have it removed and will delay the opening unless we can come to a compromise. This will be discussed at length at the special meeting this Thursday.”
