On January 28, 2024, surrounded by family and friends, Connie left this world to be with our Heavenly Father. Connie was the daughter of Victor and Marty (Ilse) Keilman. She was born on February 20, 1970, and became a big sister to Ronnie Keilman a year later.
Connie married Tim Hohon on December 16, 2006 and was welcomed into the family by Pete and Barbara Hohon. On October 3, 2007, Tim and Connie welcomed their miracle, a baby girl named Keilie Elizabeth. Connie always loved school. She graduated from Hondo High School in 1988 and Sul Ross University Rio Grande in 2004. After teaching several grades at different schools, Connie accepted a job teaching second grade at Sabinal ISD. Sabinal ISD is where her Administrators, co-workers and students became part of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, caring and learning for all of us to strive for.
Connie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Victor “Rudy” and Marie Keilman of Devine and George and Mary Elizabeth Ilse of Hondo.
Services for Connie will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church in D’Hanis on Saturday, February 10, 2024. The Rosary will be at 10:30am and the Mass will follow at 11:00am.
